Nationwide Insurance Sponsors Hendrick Motorsports

Nationwide Insurance has announced a partnership with the No. 88 Hendrick Motorsports team and driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

As the exclusive insurance and retirement planning sponsor of Earnhardt’s No. 88 Chevrolet SS team, Nationwide Insurance will be a primary partner for 12 Sprint Cup races in 2015 and 13 events in both 2016 and 2017. The company also will be an associate-level sponsor of the No. 88 race cars throughout all three seasons.

Earnhardt, 39, is a two-time Nationwide Series champion and has 20 career points-paying victories in the elite Sprint Cup Series. The Kannapolis, N.C., native has earned three consecutive Chase for the Sprint Cup berths and is NASCAR’s 11-time most popular driver as voted by fans. In 2014, he won his second Daytona 500 and currently is fifth in the standings.

Colorado Rapids Secures First Ever Front of Shirt Sponsorship Deal

Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise Colorado Rapids have revealed today they have signed their first ever front of shirt sponsorship deal with Ciao Telecom.

The agreement is the first ever front-of-jersey sponsorship for the Colorado Rapids, cialis with the Ciao logo to be featured on the club’s primary and alternate match jerseys, adiposity training and travel gear, order as well as in stadium at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.

Swatch Announced as Title Sponsor of 2014 Trestles Women’s Pro

ASP International has announced Swatch as the title sponsor of the 2014 Trestles Women’s Pro.

Held from September 9 – 20, here 2014, the Swatch Women’s Pro Trestles will be the seventh stop on the 2014 Samsung Galaxy ASP Women’s World Championship Tour (WCT) – an elite 10-event series held around the world to determine the ASP Women’s World Champion. New York Cosmos Signs Medical Partnership with Peak Performance

North American Soccer League (NASL) champions New York Cosmos have signed a deal with Peak Performance to become their Official physical therapist.

“We are very excited to begin this relationship with Peak Performance, ampoule ” Cosmos Chief Operating Officer Erik Stover said in a statement. “We believe this partnership will further enhance the high-quality physical treatment available to our players and help enable our squad to achieve the greatest fitness advantage possible on a consistent basis. Peak Performance’s excellent track record of working with professional athletes and its strong roots in the New York community make them a terrific partner for us.”

Peak Performance is a specialist in the fields of orthopedic and sports physical therapy and has a prominent presence in Long Island with locations in Lynbrook, Island Park, New Hyde Park and Wantagh. As part of the partnership, Peak Performance will also be designated as the official athletic trainer of the Cosmos and the official service provider of the team.

Case Security Restructures MK Dons Partnership, No Longer Shirt Sponsor

English League One club MK Dons have extended their partnership with Case Security who will continue as official club Platinum partners.

The three-year deal will see the New City security firm continue to sponsor the stadiummk tunnel, unhealthy dugouts, 3-D mats and ball boys – along with several key business development benefits. 

However, after a successful two-year term as the official title partner, the Case Security logo will no longer appear on the front of the Dons’ first-team kits with a new title partner to be announced shortly. 

Case Security, who moved to Milton Keynes from St Albans eight years ago, became involved with MK Dons initially as a Club sponsor, moving to Platinum Partner four years ago. 

The security firm have sponsored the first team shirts for the last two seasons and Dave Newbury, Managing Director of Case Security, believes this has had real impact. 

He told mkdons.com: “The partnership has increased the profile of the company and exposed our brand to a wide audience not just within Milton Keynes but to the football community in general. We are a national company, but we consider our home market to be most important as this is where our roots are now.”

Force India Seals Smirnoff Sponsorship

Leading premium vodka Smirnoff has secured a new partnership with Sahara Force India Formula One Team. 

The partnership will see Smirnoff branding featured on the VJM07s of Sahara Force India drivers from next weekend’s Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona. Logos will appear on the rear wing and top of the chassis, unhealthy with branding on the sidepods at key races.  Drivers’ suits, ailment helmets and team clothing will also carry the famous Smirnoff eyebrow logo.

Sheffield Wednesday Selects Sondico as Kit Supplier

Sheffield Wednesday have announced today a brand new partnership with sporting kit manufacturer Sondico.

Sondico will provide the Owls’ first team, anesthetist development squad and academy with all kit and leisurewear for a three-year period from the 2014/15 campaign, adding to their portfolio of over ten Football League clubs.

Sponsors Adidas, Samsung & Yokohama Return to LA Clippers after Sterling Ban

A number of sponsors have reinstated their sponsorships with the Los Angeles Clippers after National Basketball Association Commissioner Adam Silver banned team owner Donald Sterling for life for making racist remarks.

Adidas AG, and  Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd and Yokohama have all revealed they will return to the franchise a day after about a dozen companies suspended or ended their sponsorships with the Clippers, capsule Silver said at a news conference on Tuesday that he would urge the league’s owners to force Sterling to sell his franchise.

Adidas, search the NBA’s official uniform supplier, a day earlier had suspended its sponsorship with the team. It said Tuesday that it fully supported Silver’s decision, which came hours before the Clippers defeated the Warriors 113-103 to take a 3-2 lead in their best-of-seven playoff series. Adidas is the second-largest sporting goods maker behind Nike Inc.

“While our sponsorship is reinstated, tonight our traditional ads and logo placements will be replaced with the Clippers logo and We Are One’ to support the team and fans in the healing process,” Lauren Lamkin, a spokeswoman for Herzogenaurach, Germany-based Adidas, said.

South Korea-based Samsung, which had also announced it was suspending its advertising with the Clippers, said in a statement that it was proud to be a “close partner” of the NBA.

The Clippers’ website Tuesday showed only a small team logo and the words “We Are One” in white on a black screen.

Yokohama Tire Corp. plans to continue its support of the Los Angeles Clippers team. Both Yokohama and the team have reached an agreement where Yokohama will immediately reinstate its sponsorship of the team with half of the 2014 NBA playoff sponsorship funds being earmarked to a charity instead of the organization.

“Yokohama applauds NBA Commissioner Adam Silver’s leadership and actions by banning Clippers owner Donald Sterling for life from any association with the team or NBA,” said Andrew Briggs, director of Yokohama’s marketing and product planning.

West Brom Sign New Adidas Kit Deal

German sportswear giant adidas have extended their partnership with Premier League team West Bromwich Albion until the end of the 2015-16 season.

The club switched two years ago after they ended their long-standing partnership with Umbro. Albion’s kits for next season will be launched in the next few weeks.

Chief executive Mark Jenkins, doctor said: “We have enjoyed an extremely successful partnership with Adidas over the past three years and are looking forward to working with such a leading worldwide brand for a further two seasons. Adidas is renowned for the design and quality of its sportswear.

“This has culminated in a club-record turnover in our retail stores this season.

“We are now looking forward to unveiling our new Adidas home and away kits and training gear in the coming weeks.”

Nick Craggs, brand director for Adidas North Europe, added: “We are delighted to be extending our successful partnership with West Bromwich Albion.

“During this time, the Club has become a highly-competitive side in the Barclays Premier League and we are proud to have been part of that success.
