US Lacrosse, the national governing body of lacrosse, announces an opening for a Content Marketing Manager working as part of our Membership & Communications team. The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for concepting, creating, and executing on Content Marketing Programs that generate visibility for initiatives that support US Lacrosse’s mission.

  • You’ll be responsible for bringing to life the US Lacrosse Story through multiple media channels.

  • Work hand-in-hand with the Lacrosse Operations team to develop content campaigns that drive adoption of US Lacrosse programs.

  • Continually track and monitor content performance and engagement to measure against benchmarks and refine future content strategy

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • – Develop and execute fresh content program that drive awareness and member engagement.

  • – Contribute to the development and management of the marketing team’s editorial calendar and ensure all deliverables are met on-time and with exceptional quality

  • – Write and produce various types of digital and downloadable content, to blog regularly, and to expand US Lacrosse’s digital footprint, increase brand awareness, and grow subscribers.

  • – Planning, developing and producing copy for site pages (e.g. home pages, landing pages, product pages)

  • – Managing the process of content development from planning to completion

  • – Stay up-to-date on industry trends, viewpoints and topics in order to influence content strategy

Required Skills, Education and Experience:

  • – Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Integrated Marketing

  • – 3 to 5 years’ experience in Content Marketing and Social Media.

  • – Strong writing and content creation skills

  • – Ability to tell stories

  • – Love for creating content that captures attention.

  • – Superior communication skills and organizational skills

  • – Enough SEO knowledge to know how to create content that ranks well in search engines

  • – Ability to work cross-functionally

  • – Passion for technology

  • – Strong Audience building skills

Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • – While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions, including occasional extreme temperatures

  • – Lift and move boxes, supplies and equipment up to 20-30lbs

  • – Will experience prolonged sitting, keying of data and speaking on the phone
