Wilson Security Get Naming Rights to V8 Supercars’ Dick Johnson Racing

V8 Supercars team Dick Johnson Racing has teamed with two major Australian corporations.

Wilson Security has extended its deal, diagnosis which began in early 2013, buy with increased support including a naming rights deal. Wilson Security assume full team naming rights coupled with primary naming rights sponsorship over both of the teams’ entries.  The team will become “Wilson Security Racing” from January 1st 2014. 

Wilson Security CEO, John McMellan stated “DJR has done an outstanding job this year in working with us both on and off the track and we are delighted to not only continue this relationship but to expand and consolidate it significantly in 2014.  DJR has an incredibly strong brand and were able to build a differentiated programme that really consolidated a number of components of our current programme and we look forward to revealing these in due course.” 

In another coup for DJR, one of Australia’s leading property groups, Payce Consolidated will also join the team as a major sponsor across both team entries.  Payce has a proven track record as one of Australia’s most innovative developers of quality residential communities in Queensland and NSW. Payce has a long history of supporting Australian motorsport and their chairman Brian Boyd stated, “Key components of all of our development projects are focused around quality, people and community. Surprisingly racing and DJR as a family business in particular also embodies these principles with Payce and DJR also having a strong commitment to the Queensland community.”
