Ten Sports Secures Major Broadcasting Rights to Euroleague Basketball

Euroleague Basketball have announced today that international sports network Ten Sports will broadcast official Turkish Airlines Euroleague matches for the current season and two more.

The new deal, broquered by Total Sports Asia, enables Ten Sports to broadcast games of the top European competition in seven new countries and territories, including India. When added to Euroleague Basketball’s existing television rights contracts, it means that games of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague will now reach a global coverage area encompassing 199 countries and territories. 

Starting with the next Turkish Airlines Euroleague Game of the Week, to be played on Thursday between Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv and BC Khimki Moscow Region, Ten Sports will broadcast one game per week to the following new countries and territories: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Maldives.
