PSG announces digital partnership with Ericsson

French Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), treatment have announced a partnership with telecommunications giant Ericsson for a reported €1.8m (USD 1.9m) annually.

Ericsson will be PSG’s digital experience partner. The deal will see the Swedish company provide a sports performance information system, a digital experience backend system , and technology consulting and innovation services. 

Together with Paris Saint-Germain’s staff, we will ensure that the most successful clubs is also the most technologically advanced,” Ericsson senior vice president and chief marketing and communications officer Helena Norrman.

We hope that Ericsson are going to help us win matches,” said sporting director Patrick Kluivert.

PSG will accelerate our process of digitalisation with the expertise of Ericsson, who will provide solutions and services destined to transform the experience of fans, players and technical staff,” said the club via a press release.
