PSG Announce McDonald’s Partnership

November 5, 2013

Paris Saint Germain have announced a partnership with McDonald’s restaurants in the Ile de France region.

As part of the deal, McDonald’s will become a Official Partner of Paris Saint-Germain.

This new partnership will see McDonald’s receive more visibility on the Paris Saint-Germain media and the development, all year long, of events linking the two brands, especially in restaurants in the region. One of the biggest operations will be undertaken before the end of the year, in over 200 restaurants in Ile-de-France, or around 80% of the restaurants of the region, with the creation of a special meal deal called the ‘Menu Paris Saint-Germain.’

“To associate our brand to that of Paris Saint-Germain was an obvious choice for us, given how similar our publics are, in their diversity and their desire to experience strong emotions and share moments of pleasure,” pointed out Fabrice BUISSON, director of the Ile-de-France region.

An official partner of the Olympic Games since 1976 and organiser of sports initiation events every summer since 2006 in France, McDonald’s reinforces its commitment to promoting sport and maintaining an active lifestyle, especially amongst young people.

“The partnership with McDonald’s associates Paris Saint Germain with a dynamic brand that has seduced a large a large clientele across France. We share that same ambition, so we are delighted to welcome them as an Official Partner,” declared Jean-Claude Blanc, Paris Saint-Germain general manager.
