Porsche Extends Sponsorship of European Open

German carmaker Porsche will continue to sponsor the European Open until 2020. The golf event has been sponsored for the German firm for the past two years, with 2017’s edition to be held at the Nord Course at Green Eagle Golf Courses, Hamburg in late July.

 ”The outstanding way in which the Porsche European Open has developed in its first two years has exceeded our expectations,” said Detlev von Platen, Head of European Tour’s marketing. “The tournament is synonymous with fantastic sport and also offers visitors an extremely emotional brand experience.”
