FIBA Reinstate Japan Basketball Association Following Suspension

The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has lifted its suspension on the Japan Basketball Association (JBA) with immediate effect. 

The JBA was banned by FIBA in 2014 after failing to deliver on several of FIBA’s requests. The organisation has now been reinstated after the structure of the JBA and Japan Professional Basketball League (JPBL) was completely overhauled and a new management model was put in place.
