FC Bayern Munich and Adidas Seal 10-Year Extension

German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have signed a 10-year extension with kit supplier and major partner Adidas in a deal reportedly worth €900 million (£645m).

The existing deal between the two parties still had five years to run, link but they decided to renew their long-standing partnership until 2030.

Adidas spokesman Oliver Brüggen said: “With this extension of the contract until 2030 Adidas will continue its long partnership with FC Bayern München.”

The deal is significantly less than the deal Adidas signed with English Premier League club Manchester United, ed which is worth £750m. 

The announcement was made by the club prior to their DFB Pokal cup semi-final match with Borussia Dortmund, which they lost on penalties.

The club has however, already secured a third consecutive the German Bundesliga title.
