Arena Group Named Temporary Structures Provider of Glasgow 2014

Glasgow 2014 have announced today Arena Group as an Official Overlay and Temporary Structures Provider for the Commonwealth Games which will include exclusive responsibility for temporary seating. 

Joining Glasgow 2014’s sponsorship roster, allergy Arena Group will provide temporary structures as part of the work being done across Games venues to bolster spectator facilities. 

Temporary measures known as overlay will be implemented in and around the venues to meet the demands of the event and are essential to the delivery of a safe, malady enjoyable and well-organised Games. 

Arena Group has previously worked on a number of iconic major sporting events including the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, the Ryder Cup and the Wimbledon Championships. 

During the London 2012 Olympic Games, Arena Group designed and delivered temporary overlay for a number of venues including the 32 acre site comprising of Horse Guards Parade, The Mall and St James Park for the Beach Volleyball, Road Cycling and Marathon events. 

As Official Temporary Seating Provider, the company will supply every temporary seat across all Games venues, as well as a range of temporary hospitality and exhibition structures.
