Bushnell Outdoor Products to supply Solheim Cup

The Sport Optic Manufacturer Bushnell Outdoor Products has announced an agreement with the Ladies European Tour to become the official supplier of laser rangefinders to the 2011 European Solheim Cup team.

As an official supplier to the 2011 European Solheim Cup Team, price Bushnell Outdoor Products will provide laser rangefinders and binoculars to the European players, tadalafil caddies and referees.

Thierry Henry signs for Puma

New York Red Bulls and Former Arsenal and Barcelona player Thierry Henry will officially be wearing Puma after signing a multi-year partnership this week.

Henry will serve as a key ambassador  for the sportlifestyle brand. He debuted for Puma on Thursday night at the AT&T 2011 Major League Soccer All-Star Game against Manchester United FC.

Highland Spring and IMG Partner up Women’s Golf

The Highland Spring Group has signed a multi year deal with IMG Golf to partner three of the biggest golf tournaments in the UK – the Ricoh Women’s British Open, discount the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles and the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.  – in a multi-year deal.? ?

Highland Spring is the official water supplier to many golfing events across the country including the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles for the past 12 years, The Barclays Scottish Open and Golf Live as the official water supplier. ?

Xtep and Spanish Soccer Team Villarreal Team Up

Xtep, a Chinese sports fashion brand, has agreed a five-year sponsorship and supply deal with Spanish La Liga side Villarreal C.F.

As an official technical sponsor and exclusive provider of sportswear and accessories, Xtep will supply the team until 30th June 2016, in addition to paying a fee of US$6.4 million in five yearly installments.

Part of the deal will see the Xtep logo appear in television broadcasts of Villarreal games and within venues for all matches played by the team in La Liga and the Copa del Rey. The company will also have a full-page advertisement in each of the club’s monthly magazines, and launch a new Villarreal-themed product line.

“We are very happy about the agreement. La Liga is one of the most influential football leagues and Villarreal are an excellent team in this top division.” The chairman of the fashion brand stated. Real Madrid signs with Emirates

Emirates airline have been announced and  will be presented as Real Madrid’s new sponsor Today (Friday 29th July 2011)

The presentation ceremony will be held in the Presidential Balcony of the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium at 13:30 CET and will be attended by club president Florentino Perez, Salem Obaidalla, Emirates SVP, commercial operations, Europe & Russian Federation; Boutros Boutros, divisional SVP, corporate communications; and several players of Real Madrid’s first team.

Currently Emirates have a 15-year shirt sponsorship deal with Arsenal, which includes the naming rights of The Emirates Stadium. The airlines also has short deals with German side Hamburg, French outfit Paris St Germain, Greek club Olympiakos and Italian giants AC Milan after a four-year £52m deal was signed last year.

The sponsorship for Real Madrid is not a shirt deal. Austrian betting firm BWin holds the shirt sponsorship for the Spanish giants until the end of the 2012-2013 season. However the deal could develop in the future to involve to the shirt.

EA Sports Secure Sponsorship with German Champions Borussia Dortmund

EA Sports have agreed a deal to sponsor German soccer champions Borussia Dortmund (BVB) for the 2011/12 season.

The deal will provide the US videogame publisher with an advertising presence at the Signal Iduna Park – acting as presenting sponsor on video screens bringing results from elsewhere in the Bundesliga – and will also run the EA Sports Fanbank competition at every Borussia Dortmund home league game.

The scheme will see two lucky fans at each game given the chance to sit pitchside during the game at seats fitted with consoles playing flagship title Fifa 12.

The deal is valued by Sponsors.de at around US$285,000, which was brokered by the Sportfive agency.

Dirk Schülgen, marketing director at EA Sports’ parent company Electronic Arts, said: “With this partnership we will strengthen the connection between virtual and real football. We also have in BVB an attractive partner for joint activities around the football that will excite the fans.”

Borussia Dortmund board chairman Hans-Joachim Watzke added: “EA Sports is the brand of virtual football, and we are happy to count a young, dynamic company like Electronic Arts among our partners.”

World Superbikes Extends Deal with Pirelli

Pirelli has signed a deal to remain as the official tyre supplier to the World Superbike Championship until the end of the 2015 season.

Pirelli has supplied tyres to the championship since 2004 and the previous contract ran until the end of 2012.

As part of the deal, click Pirelli tyres will also again be used in the World Supersport Championship, the Superstock 1000 FIM Cup and the UEM Superstock 600 European Championship.

Paolo Flammini, CEO of series promoter Infront Motor Sports, said: “We are delighted to be able to renew the contract with Pirelli until the completion of the 2015 season. Heineken Sponsors Golf’s Irish Open

The PGA European Tour has announced Dutch brewer Heineken as an official sponsor of the Irish Open at the Killarney Golf and Fishing Club, discount which begins today.

Heineken previously title sponsored the event under its Murphy’s brand between 1994 and 2002. This year’s sponsorship bolsters the beer brand’s sports portfolio, medicine which includes rugby union’s Heineken Cup and Rugby World Cup, order and soccer’s UEFA Champions League.

Financial terms of the agreement were undisclosed.

Walter Drenth, marketing director for Heineken Ireland, said: “We are delighted with the opportunity to present Heineken at this prestigious sporting event. The Irish Open is respected throughout Europe by professional golfers and spectators alike. The special ambiance of Killarney and its unique beauty will enhance the staging of the tournament.”

Leverkusen Become Next German Club to Pair Up with Solar Energy Company

Top German soccer side Bayer 04 Leverkusen have become the latest Bundesliga club to pair up with a solar energy company after agreeing a three-year deal with Jinko Solar.

Toro Extend PGA Tour Agreement

The PGA European Tour has announced a new five-year agreement with The Toro Company, doctor one of the world’s leading providers of irrigation and turf maintenance equipment.

Toro will continue as Preferred Supplier to The European Tour through to 2015, continuing a relationship that began in 2000.

The agreement will ensure that Toro equipment and service support will be provided for The European Tour  throughout the year to ensure that all tournament venues across The European, Challenge and Senior Tours are presented in excellent condition for tournament play.

Toro supplies and services many of the world’s leading golf resorts and, through its relationship with the Tour, is seeking to further consolidate its reputation as a brand leader in this sector.

Toro was also the Preferred Supplier of Irrigation and Turf Maintenance Equipment for The 2006 Ryder Cup at The K Club in Ireland and The 2010 Ryder Cup at the Celtic Manor Resort in Wales.
