Inverness Extend Shirt Sponsorship with Orion Group

The Orion Group has renewed its shirt sponsorship deal with Inverness Caledonian Thistle in a one-year deal worth a five-figure sum to Scottish Premier League team..

The company, which has its headquarters in the Highland Capital, have been sponsors of Caley Thistle since they returned to the Scottish Premier League in 2010.

The two-year agreement was due to expire at the end of the season, but following talks it has been agreed that the Orion Group will continue their association with the club.

“This is an exciting deal and one which is sure to be welcomed by our loyal supporters,” said Caley Thistle’s executive chairman Kenny Cameron.

“The Orion Group has a staunch connection of support for the team and the relationship continues to strengthen.

“The company and its employees have supported the team week in, week out and this is very much appreciated by us all at the club.”

Puma Becomes Official Supplier to BMW Motorsport

German sportswear company PUMA has become the “Official Supplier BMW Motorsport” for team and racewear for BMW Motorsport operations in the DTM, medstore American Le Mans Series, and endurance races such as the Nürburgring 24 Hours.

PUMA will also assume the role of Exclusive Licensed Partner for the BMW Motorsport product categories of “Footwear”, “Apparel” and “Accessories”.

BMW Motorsport Director Jens Marquardt, said: “It is great to have such a well-known and reliable partner as PUMA on board again at such an exciting time for us.

“The link between BMW Motorsport and this successful company has grown over the years and goes as far back as the 2004 season. It is hard to imagine our team and driver apparel without the characteristic PUMA logo. As a strong partner in the field of licensed products, PUMA will play a major role in ensuring that our fans around the world enjoy the products from the BMW Motorsport collections.”

The PUMA logo will not only be prominent on the apparel of the drivers, team members and management, but also on the BMW Motorsport cars – whether the BMW M3 DTM, BMW M3 GT or BMW Z4 GT3. PUMA will also develop licensed products for global sales and distribution.

This will strengthen the presence of BMW Motorsport products in key European markets, as well as significantly expanding sales performance in emerging markets in Asia and the Americas.

Deutsche Lufthansa verlängert Sporthilfe-Partnerschaft

Die Deutsche Lufthansa bleibt für weitere vier Jahre Nationaler Förderer der Deutschen Sporthilfe.

Lufthansa war im Mai 2007 als erstes von mittlerweile vier DAX-Unternehmen in die höchste Partnerkategorie der Stiftung Deutsche Sporthilfe eingestiegen. Nun ist Europas größte Fluglinie der erste Nationale Förderer, symptoms der sein Engagement nicht nur verlängert, asthma sondern noch einmal intensiviert. Im Mittelpunkt steht dabei die Sporthilfe-Spendenkampagne “Dein Name für Deutschland”, bei der jeder Bürger mit nur drei Euro im Monat “Sponsor” der deutschen Spitzensportler werden kann. Lufthansa wird die Kampagne kommunikativ begleiten und in vielfältiger Form unterstützen.

Ein weiteres zentrales Anliegen der Lufthansa ist die Förderung des sportlichen Nachwuchses, ob mit oder ohne Handicap. Lufthansa übernimmt auch weiterhin die mit 3.000 EUR pro Jahr dotierten Patenschaften für zehn künftige Medaillenhoffnungen aus dem Nachwuchselite-Förderprogramm der Deutschen Sporthilfe. In der Vergangenheit unterstützte Lufthansa als Pate bereits Karrieren der Skirennläuferin Viktoria Rebensburg, Olympiasiegerin 2010 im Riesenslalom, Biathletin Miriam Gössner, Silbermedaillengewinnerin von Vancouver in der Langlaufstaffel, und des amtierenden Weltmeisters in der Nordischen Kombination, Eric Frenzel.

Leeds United Partner with Luxury Swiss Watch Brand

Leeds United Football Club have announced that leading Swiss Luxury watch brand Ebel has become an Official Partner for the 2011/12 Season.

Ebel, capsule headquartered in Switzerland, apoplectic will become the Official Timing Partner of Leeds United and provide the timing interface with fans within the Stadium. At every home game Ebel will time-reference the critical moments in the match via the Giant Screen along with a giant clock that will be located inside the prestigious new East Stand reception area.

Ebel was the very first watch brand to be seriously involved in sports sponsorship. In the early 1980’s and until the mid-1990’s Pierre-Alain Blum and his team created strong associations with the world of Tennis, ed Golf, Formula1 and Football. More recently Ebel has been associated with an elite group of European football clubs including Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Lyon and Glasgow Rangers.

LA Clippers Sign New Sponsor 1-800LoanMart

NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers have announced a new partnership with 1-800LoanMart.

This partnership between 1-800LoanMart and the Los Angeles Clippers will include signage for 1-800LoanMart at the Staples Center arena during Clippers home games, television and radio spots with 1-800LoanMart during games, charitable events sponsored by 1-800LoanMart and the Clippers, and a wide array of online and social media marketing.

Fans of the Clippers will begin to see this partnership with 1-800LoanMart go into action with signs during the game both live at the Staples Center and from home on television broadcasts.  As the Clippers rise in popularity, 1-800LoanMart will gain more exposure as well.

Red Bull Become Official Drink for Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship

MX Sports Pro Racing and Alli Sports have announced a multi-year agreement with Red Bull, the world’s leading energy drink, to become the “Official Energy Drink of Pro Motocross” for the upcoming Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing.

The partnership will be highlighted by Red Bull title sponsorship at three of the 12 national events this summer – Budds Creek (June 16), RedBud (July 7) and Unadilla (August 18).

“We couldn’t be more proud to welcome Red Bull to the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship,” said MX Sports Pro Racing President Davey Coombs. “Their presence within action sports and motorsports speaks for itself and with their commitment, Pro Motocross is sure to reach new heights this season and beyond.”

Liberty University Skier Jonathan Steltzer Inks Deal with 4FRNT

Jonathan Steltzer, cure a member of Liberty University’s ski and snowboard team, generic has signed a sponsorship deal with 4FRNT, viagra sale a ski equipment and apparel company.

Steltzer, a freshman from Kennebunkport, Maine, credits the team and Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centrefor helping to hone his freestyle skills and land the sponsorship.

“Basically all my tricks I’ve learned on Snowflex because it’s so easy to adapt and learn tricks,” he said.

The facility opened in 2009 and is the only slope of its kind in North America made of Snowflex, a synthetic material that simulates the effects of snow. Because it is open year-round, skiers and snowboarders have more opportunity to perfect their sport than those who can only practice during the winter months.

Drew Sherwood, general manager of Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre, said: “Right away, we noticed something unique about Jon. His progression was increasing at a much faster pace here. With Jon being able to pick up a sponsorship, especially 4FRNT, which is a huge ski company especially in the freestyle industry, it shows a lot of good things about not only Jon, but our facility and what we’ve been able to help him do.”

Taking full advantage of the slopes in the fall, Steltzer has practiced four days a week, five hours a day.

Although he has been skiing since he was 3, he began to take a real interest in the sport when he was 15. He first came to Snowflex while visiting his older brother Tim, a former captain of Liberty’s ski team.

“(Snowflex has) a really positive atmosphere, everyone’s real cool here. It’s not just the people who work here, the skiers (too), we’re all just a group of friends that hang out, help each other progress in the sport,” Jonathan Steltzer said.

He will have his first chance to compete when the university hosts the College Freestyle Jam this Saturday, Feb. 4. The United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association event will feature more than 80 top high school and college athletes.

Four Winds to Title Sponsor New LPGA Development Tour Event

The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians, owners of Four Winds Casinos the premier gaming destinations in the Midwest, and the LPGA, the world’s leading women’s professional golf organization have announced that Four Winds will title sponsor the Four Winds Invitational, a new tournament on the 2012 Symetra Tour a development series leading to the LPGA.

It will be held from Friday, August 10 through Sunday, August 12, at the Blackthorn Golf Club in South Bend, Ind. The Four Winds Invitational will feature a field of professional women golfers from around the world competing for a total prize of $150,000, making it the largest purse on the 2012 Symetra Tour.

The tournament will be held at Blackthorn Golf Club, located at 6100 Nimtz Parkway, South Bend, Ind. Blackthorn opened in August 1994, and sits on a heavily wooded 226-acre site. The par 72, 7,136-yard layout features broad fairways that are framed by 94 bunkers, wetlands, ponds, and native prairie grasses that lead to subtly contoured and swept-up-tiered bentgrass greens. Valencia Finally Get New Shirt Sponsors JinkoSolar

Valencia have announced a new shirt sponsorship deal for the Spanish La Liga team with innovative solar power product manufacturer, health JinkoSolar.

The sponsorship will commence for Valencia’s next match, the Copa Del Rey Semi Final First Leg against Barcelona on Wednesday night, where the club will display JinkoSolar on their shirts.

Valencia President Manuel Llorente, a large number of the board and the first team squad were all present at the special presentation of the new sponsors and Llorente expressed his gratitude to JinkoSolar for deciding to ”unite with Valencia CF.”

Llorente gave a long and rousing speech at the presentation. He said: ”Valencia is a big club with worldwide recognition and a large presence in China, where I had the pleasure of a visit a short time ago. Jinko is a leading company in their sector and their collaboration with us will be mutually beneficial. Our club is a European and worldwide brand, giving added value to the players who turn out for us and the sponsors who collaborate with us.”
