Leeds United Partner with Luxury Swiss Watch Brand

Leeds United Football Club have announced that leading Swiss Luxury watch brand Ebel has become an Official Partner for the 2011/12 Season.
Ebel, capsule headquartered in Switzerland, apoplectic will become the Official Timing Partner of Leeds United and provide the timing interface with fans within the Stadium. At every home game Ebel will time-reference the critical moments in the match via the Giant Screen along with a giant clock that will be located inside the prestigious new East Stand reception area.
Ebel was the very first watch brand to be seriously involved in sports sponsorship. In the early 1980’s and until the mid-1990’s Pierre-Alain Blum and his team created strong associations with the world of Tennis, ed Golf, Formula1 and Football. More recently Ebel has been associated with an elite group of European football clubs including Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Lyon and Glasgow Rangers.
Leeds United Chief Executive Shaun Harvey said: “The multi million pound redevelopment of the East Stand, combined with the global recognition of the Leeds United brand has provided the perfect environment for Ebel to join our growing Commercial Partners Programme. We are delighted to welcome another market leading brand to the Club, and we look forward to activating the relationship with Ebel and their official stockists during the course of the season.”
