Valencia Finally Get New Shirt Sponsors JinkoSolar
February 1, 2012
Valencia have announced a new shirt sponsorship deal for the Spanish La Liga team with innovative solar power product manufacturer, health JinkoSolar.
The sponsorship will commence for Valencia’s next match, the Copa Del Rey Semi Final First Leg against Barcelona on Wednesday night, where the club will display JinkoSolar on their shirts.
Valencia President Manuel Llorente, a large number of the board and the first team squad were all present at the special presentation of the new sponsors and Llorente expressed his gratitude to JinkoSolar for deciding to ”unite with Valencia CF.”
Llorente gave a long and rousing speech at the presentation. He said: ”Valencia is a big club with worldwide recognition and a large presence in China, where I had the pleasure of a visit a short time ago. Jinko is a leading company in their sector and their collaboration with us will be mutually beneficial. Our club is a European and worldwide brand, giving added value to the players who turn out for us and the sponsors who collaborate with us.”
“We will open our doors to businesses and companies who are fighting to make their mark on this huge global market. JinkoSolar is not only our sponsor but also a sister organisation. Together we want to grow for the future. We are in the process of constructing what will be one of the largest stadiums in world football. Alongside Jinko we are initiating a development project for renewable and sustainable energies within our facilities. Solar power is our future and, given our climate and sunshine, Spain should be a leading force in this. We at Valencia CF are certainly full of energy.”
“Tomorrow we will have 50,000 fans at Mestalla. They will be excited about seeing a great game. We all feel this excitement. I am sure that we will have a fantastic night of football and Valencianismo. Having JinkoSolar by our side will give us an extra push.”
JinkoSolar chief marketing officer, Arturo Herrero, was unable to attend the presentation but he delivered a video message.
In the message he said, “In the name of JinkoSolar, it is an enormous pleasure to have this opportunity to be the main sponsor for this great club – above all for Valencia’s international prestige and the chance to make an immediate impact in Europe with games between Valencia and other top teams.”
Valencia have been without a shirt sponsor for the majority of the season and instead used their twitter handles on their shirts to drum up support for the team.
