Noakes Group Extend Cruising Yacht Club of Australia Sponsorship

Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA) have announced the Noakes Group have extended their sponsorship of the CYCA and its Youth Sailing Academy for a further four years.

Noakes Group’s sponsorship provides lifting, standing and antifouling services to the Club’s vessels including Offshore, Gordon Marshall, the Youth Sailing Academy’s 10 Elliotts, and the tender vessel George Barton until June 2016.  In addition, Noakes will take delivery of the clubs new fleet of Elliott 7m boats when they arrive from China in May 2013 and provide assistance in the commissioning of each yacht

Commenting on Noakes sponsorship, Commodore Piggott said: “We thank Sean Langman and his team at Noakes for providing this valuable service to the Club and its members and for their ongoing support of the Youth Sailing Academy.”

In 2013, the CYCA Youth Sailing Academy will celebrate its 20th anniversary. A number of activities are currently being planned which includes the arrival of the new fleet of Elliott 7m boats.

Honav to Supply Olympic Pin Badges at Rio 2016

Beijing Huajiang Culture Development Co. Ltd. has secured a contract to provide Olympic pins badges to the next edition to be held in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.

Beijing Huajiang, troche also known as Honav, has been awarded the license to become the official provider of pins for the 2016 Games by the Rio Olympics and Paralympics Games Organising Committee, reports Xinhua.

Jack Chen, Chairman of Honav said the agreement signed in London is a “testament to our commitment to promote the Olympic spirit.”

“We are becoming an increasingly significant part of the Olympic community.”

Chen pledged that his company is fully embracing the opportunity to be part of the Rio Olympics.

Carlos Nuzman, president of the 2016 Games, praised the Chinese company for its high quality of creative designs of the pin badges.

“I have full confidence that they will continue with their work in the run up to Rio 2016,” said Carlos Nuzman.

Honav has been supplier of the Olympic pin badges for three successive times, at Beijing, London, and now Rio de Janeiro.

Tim Tebow Named Brand Ambassador for SOUL Electronics

SOUL Electronics has announced NFL superstar Tim Tebow as a new brand ambassador. 

The quarterback will be featured in the company’s “SOUL of Greatness” video series and campaign. Tebow will also represent the SOUL brand during various events throughout the year and will be a development partner for his own specially branded SOUL products.

MuscleFoot to Sponsor DaMarques Johnson at UFC on Fox 4

DoMark International Inc. through its wholly owned subsidiary, MuscleFoot Inc., has announced a deal with DaMarques “Darkness” Johnson of the UFC as another athlete to its sponsorship initiative.

UFC on FOX 4 will be held on Saturday, 4 August at the Staples Center in Los Angeles with a light heavyweight main event between Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Brandon Vera.

The night’s four-fight main card airs on FOX, and preliminary-card bouts will air on FUEL TV, and stream on Facebook. With Ben Rothwell exiting with a last-minute ankle injury, the welterweight affair between Mike Swick and DaMarques Johnson has been promoted to the “UFC on FOX: Shogun vs. Vera” main card. Rothwell was originally slotted to battle Travis Browne in the August 4th bout. Instead of scrambling for a replacement, the UFC has opted to pull Rothwell and Browne from the lineup and bump the Johnson vs. Swick contest to the Main card.

Molkerei Ammerland verlängert bei Werder bis 2014

Der SV Werder Bremen und die Molkerei Ammerland gehen weiter gemeinsame Wege und verstärken ihre Zusammenarbeit. Die seit 01.03.2011 bestehende Verbindung wurde um zwei Jahre bis zum 30.06.2014 verlängert.

Werders “Offizieller Regio-Sponsor” mit Sitz in Wiefelstede-Dringenburg, wird sich neben der Positionierung im Umfeld der Werder-Profis und der Ausstattung des SV Werder Bremen mit “Ammerländer”-Produkten wie Milch, Butter und Käse für den Spiel- und Trainingsbetrieb sowie zur Belieferung des Fußball-Internats auch kreativ einbringen.

One of the UK’s leading railway contractors QTS has confirmed it will be club sponsor of SPL team Kilmarnock FC for the 2012/13 season.

2XU Becomes Official Compression Supplier for U.S. Ski & Snowboard Association

Under the new sponsorship, U.S. Ski Team, U.S. Snowboarding and U.S. Freeskiing athletes will wear 2XU Compression for athletic training and recovery.

Raycom to Title Sponsor College Football All-Star Classic

Raycom Media, the parent company of this television station, and leaders of the City of Montgomery announced Wednesday that Raycom will be the title sponsor of the College Football All-Star Classic, a week-long college football all-star event to be played at Montgomery’s Cramton Bowl.

The event will feature 100 of the nation’s top senior athletes. Former NFL head coaches are scheduled to coach the teams and will be announced at a later date. The game will be televised nationally on Jan. 19, 2013 at 2 p.m. (CT).

Executive Director Johnny Williams said the news was “tremendous”, calling Raycom a “perfect fit for our game,” and  adding that it’s a local sponsor that has a national reach. Raycom Media is based in Montgomery but owns or operates nearly 48 television stations in 18 states.

“We are excited to partner with The College Football All-Star Classic and support this first class event for the City of Montgomery,” said Raycom Media President and CEO, Paul McTear, Jr. “Raycom Media has the experience and assets to help this game become a highly anticipated annual event.” McTear added that the sponsorship is also a chance for the company to be a good corporate citizen.
