Estrella Damm Sponsor 2013 FINA World Championships

Estrella Damm have announced a partnership with the 2013 FINA World Championships in Barcelona.

The Catalan company, which collaborates with football clubs FC Barcelona and RCD Espanyol, reinforces its commitment to sports. At the Planet Water Village of the 15th FINA World Championships, Estrella Damm will provide a stand entitled “Mediterràniament”

As national supplier of Barcelona 2013, Estrella Damm will provide water (Veri) and beer (Estrella Damm) for the FINA World Championships and will also set up a stand at the Planet Water Village. Fans can visit the stand entitled ‘Mediterràniament’ during the major sporting event.

The Barcelona 2013 FINA World Championships will be held from 19 July to 4 August. Four competition venues (Palau Sant Jordi, Bernat Picornell Pool, Montjuïc Municipal Pool and Moll de la Fusta) will play host to six aquatic sports, including swimming, synchronized swimming, water polo, diving, open water swimming and high diving.

Estrella Damm will also organize different promotional activities at the hospitality area of the World Championships.

Damm, which is now one of Barcelona’s most successful and iconic brands, was founded in 1876. “Estrella” means “Star” in both Catalan and Spanish.

Providence Resources Sponsors Irish Sailing Until Rio 2016

Irish oil and gas exploration and production company Providence Resources P.l.c., health are to sponsor the Irish Sailing Team for a four year period in the run up to the Olympic Games in Rio in 2016.

This sponsorship follows a six month deal in 2012, asthma which provided the team with additional resources in preparation for the London Games.

The Irish sailing team had their most successful Olympics for thirty years in 2012 with 4th, viagra 40mg 10th and 14th finishes. 

Speaking at today’s announcement Providence Resources, Chief Executive, Tony O’Reilly, said “Providence Resources were so proud of the Irish sailing team at the Games in 2012 and we know they can achieve so much more.   We want to provide the team with the support to reach their goals in 2016”.

The Irish sailing team will be named Providence Team IRL for the four year period and joint branding will be rolled out over the coming weeks.

We very much appreciated the support they provided prior to London 2012 and this new partnership will offer a more secure training platform four years out from the games.”

Madison Renews Deal to Supply British Cycling

British Cycling have extended their deal with Madison with the cycling parts manufacturer continuing its role as an official supplier for the organisation.

The partnership will extend the working relationship which was first formalised in 2009 through the Shimano brand. Following cycling’s success at London 2012 the new agreement will now run under the Madison brand until beyond Rio 2016.

The extended relationship allows British Cycling access to products from across the Madison stable of brands to support the development of the Great Britain Cycling Team. Madison will also be supporting British Cycling through participation programmes, apoplectic the ongoing membership drive and additional initiatives such as the Insight Zone.

British Cycling’s Chief Executive, medicine Ian Drake, pills commented on the deal: “Madison is the market-leading cycle products distributor in the UK and we are looking forward to a further four years of partnership on the road to success in Rio.

“Our membership has just reached the 75,000 milestone and the additional support brought to British Cycling through this agreement further highlights the strength of the programmes we are running outside of the Great Britain Cycling Team.

Turkish Airlines Sponsors European Tour’s Scottish Open

Turkish Airlines has come on board with the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open as an official sponsor.

The one-year agreement further enhances Turkish Airlines’ relationship with The European Tour and sees the luxury airline join 15 other companies as official sponsors for the tournament, medicine which takes place at the magnificent Castle Stuart Golf Links near Inverness in the north of Scotland from July 11-14.

Turkish Airlines flies to over 100 countries and over 200 destinations and has been voted by the 18 million people surveyed by SKY TRAX as the best airline in Europe for the past three years. It was announced at Wentworth Club earlier in the season as the title sponsor of the new Turkish Airlines Open in November in Antalya, impotent Turkey.

NanoTech Adds Three MMA Stars to Sponsorship Portfolio

NanoTech Entertainment has announced today that it has entered into long term sponsorship agreements with multiple top level mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters.

The first three fighters to join the NanoTech team are David “Daudi” Mitchell, doctor David “Badman” Huckaba, and Michael “May Day” McDonald.

Peak Becomes Official Licensed Teamwear Partner of WNBL

Chinese sportswear brand Peak has become the Official Licensed Teamwear partner of Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) for the next three years.

The new deal, which covers seasons 2013/14 through to 2015/16, will give Peak the exclusive team wear rights to the WNBL, providing clubs with high quality on-court, off-court and training merchandise. 

Peak – a global partner of FIBA – will also develop the WNBL’s licensed product retail strategy in partnership with Basketball Australia through one of its Australian marketing partners, Active Sports Management.

Basketball Australia Chief Executive Officer Kristina Keneally said the WNBL was proud to partner with a global leader in sports apparel.

“Peak boast more than 20 years’ experience and an excellent reputation worldwide – making them a fitting apparel partner for one of the world’s premier women’s professional leagues,” Ms Keneally said.

John Deere to Supply Golf Course Machinery for 2015 Solheim Cup

John Deere, one of the largest manufacturers of agricultural machinery, have announced they will be the official supplier of golf course machinery for The 2015 Solheim Cup.

The competition is the highlight of the 2015 female golf sporting calendar in Germany with the 12 best selected female golf players from both Europe and the United States join together to compete for the prestigious Solheim Cup at St. Leon-Rot Golf Club in Germany from September 18th-20th, 2015.

Through the agreement with the Ladies European Tour (LET) and St. Leon-Rot Golf Club, the 2015 Solheim Cup will be supported by John Deere machinery and services through the company’s European dealer network.

Fred Couples Extends Endorsement Deal with ECCO

Danish footwear supplier ECCO have announced they have renewed their sponsorship deal with PGA Tour professional Fred Couples.

Couples, a 2013 inductee into the World Golf Hall of Fame who was recently named “The Coolest Golfer of All Time” by Golf Digest, will continue to be featured in ECCO marketing initiatives. He currently ranks third in Charles Schwab Cup Points on the Champions Tour, having recorded six top-10s in his first seven tournaments of the year.

“Before ECCO, I was always a very traditional shoe guy, but now really all I put on are the Golf Street and BIOM Hybrid styles,” says Couples. “They’ve both got a great look, are so comfortable and provide the traction and stability I need when competing. Manchester United Enter Russian Market with Aeroflot Sponsorship

Russian airline, Aeroflot has announced they will be the Official Carrier of Manchester United replacing Turkish Airlines.

This partnership marks the club’s first commercial venture in Russia – an expanding market it is keen to explore further and where it has close to 18 million followers.

As the Official Carrier of Manchester United, Aeroflot will provide the English Premier League champions with strategic advice on travel for the team and club representatives.

Aeroflot has 137 planes and one of the youngest fleets in Europe, with an average age of five to six years and in 2012, the Group provided an outstanding travel experience to its 27.5 million passengers.
