Hitachi to Sponsor Helio Castroneves for 2014 IndyCar Season

Hitachi America, discount Ltd., doctor has today announced that the Hitachi Group will serve as the primary sponsor for eight races on the No. 3 Team Penske Dallara/Chevrolet driven by three-time Indianapolis 500 winner Helio Castroneves in the 2014 IndyCar Series.

Hitachi Group companies in the Americas included in the sponsorship include: Hitachi Aloka Medical, Ltd.,Hitachi America, Ltd., Hitachi Automotive Systems Americas, Inc., Hitachi Consulting, Hitachi Data Systems, Hitachi High-Technologies America, Incand Hitachi High-Technologies Canada, Inc.

Hitachi began its partnership with Team Penske for the 2012 season as a primary sponsor on the No. 2 Team Penske IndyCar and continued its relationship with Team Penske during the 2013 season by sponsoring Castroneves’ No. 3 Team Penske Car.

Castroneves will first race in the Hitachi colors at the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, the season-opening event for the 18-race IndyCar Series season that begins on Sunday, March 30. In addition to serving as an associate sponsor for the No.3 Team Penske Dallara/Chevrolet, Hitachi will also serve as an associate sponsor on the No. 2 Dallara/Chevrolet driven by Juan Pablo Montoya and the No. 12 Verizon Dallara/Chevrolet driven by Will Power in 2014.

Marcel Siem Signs New Sponsorship Deal to Use Wilson Clubs

Professional golfer Marcel Siem ahs announced a partnership with Wilson to use the company’s Staff clubs in tournaments around the world.

The German, who won his third European Tour title last March, will be playing the latest Wilson Staff FG Tour M3 irons (4-PW) and FG Tour TC wedges, as well as carrying the Wilson Staff Pro Tour bag and featuring the brand on hiscap. He’s set to debut with the new clubs in the Volvo Golf Champions event starting in South Africa this week.

Having spent much of the 2013 season in the United States on the PGA Tour, 33-year-old Siem is determined to build on his success at last year’s Hassan Trophy event in Morocco –where he led wire-to-wire for a three-shot victory–and sees his new Wilson Staff clubs playing a major role in the future.

Another Official Sponsor Secured for Men’s EHF EURO 2014

The Men’s European Handball Federation (EHF) EURO 2014 have secured another official sponsor for the 2014 men’s event. 

The Local Organising Committee of the 2015 Men’s EHF World Championship in Qatar was announced as the official sponsor by Infront Sports Media, viagra buy (the marketing partner of the EHF).

Sochi Medal Hopeful Marie-Michele Gagnon Becomes Sunshine Village Ambassador

Canadian alpine racer Marie-Michele Gagnon will become an ambassador for Sunshine Village where she trains as part of a new partnership agreement between the Rocky Mountain resort and the Olympic-bound athlete.

Considered a strong medal contender at the 2014 Sochi Olympic Winter Games, Gagnon is an exceptional all-round athlete, one of the few in the world to compete on the World Cup circuit in all five disciplines — slalom, giant slalom, super-G, super combined, and downhill.

“I am so pleased to be part of Sunshine Village Ski Resort’s Ambassador program,” said Gagnon, a 24-year old native of Lac-Etchemin, Quebec, who has 10 Canadian titles and is the reigning national champion in slalom, giant slalom, and super-G.

J.P. Morgan Extends Round the Island Race Sponsorship

J.P. Morgan have announced they will continue to sponsor the Round the Island Race until 2016

The Island Sailing Club (ISC) in Cowes, organisers of this most famous annual one-day Round the Island Race that was first held in 1931 and comprises a 50nm course around the Isle of Wight held each June, has confirmed a two-year extension to the current deal.

It made the announcement at the London Boat Show on the J.P. Morgan BAR AC45 stand, exhibiting the very boat which broke the Race Multihull record last year.

J.P. Morgan has sponsored the Island Race since 2005 and also announced title sponsorship of Sir Ben Ainslie and his team BAR in the Extreme Sailing Series 2014.

Samsung to Focus on Second Screen Innovation in PGA of America Deal

South Korean electronics giant Samsung Electronics, health has been named an Official Patron of the PGA of America.
