Toro Rosso F1 Extend Sponsorship Deal with Falcon Private Bank

Swiss wealth management specialist, ailment Falcon Private Bank, cialis will continue its sponsorship agreement with the Formula One team Scuderia Toro Rosso for the second consecutive year allowing it to become official partner for the 2012 season.

The bank said it has been official sponsor for the team since May 2011, which has proved to be a powerful enhancement tool to raise its global brand awareness and visibility while offering a cutting-edge client hospitality platform in one of the world’s most fascinating sports.

Red Bull Racing Renew Casio Deal

Red Bull Racing has agreed an enhanced two-year extension to its existing deal with Japanese watch manufacturer Casio allowing it to become the Team’s Official Timing Partner for the 2012 season and beyond.

In addition to increased positioning, herbal the new agreement will bring greater visibility for Casio, therapy with its logo appearing on the nose of the RB8, as well as on the 2012 team kit and in all partner listing areas.

Hugo Boss unterstützt deutsche Tennis-Nationalmannschaften

Nach Porsche ist der Deutsche Tennis Bund (DTB) eine weitere Partnerschaft mit einem internationalen Unternehmen eingegangen.

Der Metzinger Modekonzern Hugo Boss stattet 2012 die Damen- und Herren-Nationalmannschaften des DTB abseits des Tennisplatzes bei offiziellen Anlässen mit Sport- und Freizeitmode sowie Abendgarderobe aus. Startschuss für die neue Kooperation ist die Erstrundenbegegnung der Fed Cup Weltgruppe zwischen Deutschland und Tschechien vom 4. bis 5. Februar in Stuttgart.

Jack Wolfskin beendet Engagement beim DFB-Pokal

 

Der Outdoor-Artikel-Hersteller Jack Wolfskin wird ab der Saison 2012/13 nicht mehr als Sponsor des DFB-Pokals auftreten. Marcus Pieker, pills Manager Sponsoring und Events bei Jack Wolfskin, verriet gegenüber dem Magazin „Sponsors“: „Nach reiflicher Überlegung sowie der Änderung gewisser Vorzeichen sind wir zu der Entscheidung gekommen, das Engagement nicht mehr zu verlängern.“

Der Deutsche Fußball-Bund stellt gemeinsam mit seinem Vermarkter Infront Sports & Media zur kommenden Saison sein Vermarktungskonzept von vier Top-Partnern und weiteren sieben Spot-Partner auf sechs offizielle Partner um und erhöht im Zuge dessen die Preise von maximal rund drei Millionen Euro auf rund 3,5 Millionen Euro.

Wie Jack-Wolfskin-Manager Pieker gegenüber „Sponsors“ betont, habe „die Preiserhöhung bei der Bewertung natürlich eine Rolle gespielt, insgesamt war diese aber zweitrangig“. Vielmehr sei die Entscheidung gegen den DFB-Pokal „aus strategischen Gründen gefallen“. Das Idsteiner Unternehmen will seine Sponsoringstrategie anpassen, sich internationaler aufstellen sowie „auf dieser Grundlage die zum Saisonende auslaufenden Verträge prüfen“ und sich gegebenenfalls für „weitere neue Plattformen entscheiden“.

Noch befindet sich Jack Wolfskin im Zuge seiner neuen Werbestrategie aber in der Konzeptionsphase. Dass das Unternehmen im nächsten Jahr auch nicht mehr bei der Vierschanzentournee werben wird, bezeichnet Pieker jedoch als „sehr sicher“. Der Sponsoring-Verantwortliche begründet die Entscheidung mit „gewissen Abnutzungserscheinungen“, rückläufigen TV-Quoten und dem abgenommenem Interesse der Kunden und Skisprung-Fans.

Nestle Nesquik Becomes Official Flavored Milk of USA Water Polo

Nestle Nesquick a chocolate milk company, has been named the official flavored milk and recovery drink of USA Water Polo (USAWP).

As part of the agreement, Nesquick will be provided to the USA Men’s and Women’s Senior National Teams in their preparation for the 2012 Olympic Games. Nestle Nesquick will also support USAWP on social media platforms, along with submitting special content for inclusion in SkipShot magazine, the official publication of USA Water Polo. In addition, USAWP athletes will also be eligible to make appearances on behalf of Nestle Nesquick throughout 2012 and the beverage will be promoted at USAWP events through program listings and public address announcements.

Low-fat chocolate milk has recently been touted as a workout recovery drink. “A recovery drink such as low-fat Nesquick chocolate milk is a great recovery option for the USA Water Polo National Team athletes,” said Shawn Dolan, US Olympic Committee Sport Dietitian. “It is easy for them to grab between weights and a pool session or after a session before their next meal. South African Rugby Union Secures Three-Year Deal with CIB Insurance

CIB Insurance Administrators (CIB) has been named an associate sponsor of the Vodafone Super Rugby in a three-year deal with the South African Rugby Union (SARU).

CIB’s associate sponsorship will run from 2012 to 2014.

Andy Marinos, prostate General Manager: Commercial and Marketing of SARU, sale said: “We are excited to add CIB to our sponsorship family and look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship with a partner that is enthusiastic about rugby and the sustainability of the game.” 

Marinos said CIB was one of three associate sponsors to Super Rugby and formed an integral part of SARU’s plans of improving the quality of rugby to the fans each year. 

“Without sponsors, sport will struggle and we’re fortunate that we have so many South African companies passionate about growing rugby,” he said.

British Handball Gain Two New Partners Ahead of London 2012

On the horizon of the London 2012 Olympics the British Handball Association have secured two major sponsorships with City firm Collins Stewart Wealth Management and international law firm Pinsent Masons.

Collins Stewart Wealth Management and Pinsent Masons have become official partners to British Handball in a deal which lasts throughout 2012.

In addition to the sponsorship, which will see both the Great Britain men’s and women’s teams carry the company logos on their shirts in all competitions and training matches in the build-up to the Olympics, Collins Stewart Wealth Management have also pledged to donate £10 for every goal scored by both sides between now and the Games to assist the players with funding.

British Handball chief executive Paul Goodwin said: “We are thrilled that the sport has attracted two high profile, award-winning companies as major partners.”

“It demonstrates that British Handball is in a strong position in the build-up to the Olympics and we look forward to working closely with Collins Stewart Wealth Management and Pinsent Masons throughout the year to further develop the popularity of the sport into the future.”

Bell’s Brewery Retains Title Sponsorship of Sailboat Race

Bell’s Brewery has renewed its title sponsorship of the annual sailboat race from Port Huron to Michigan’s Mackinac Island through the 2014 event.

Race organizers announced Tuesday that Michigan-based Bell’s Brewery Inc. will continue to sponsor the race, which starts July 14 just north of the Blue Water Bridge. The official name is the “Bell’s Beer Bayview Mackinac Race.”

More than 200 boats and about 2,500 sailors participate. The Bayview Yacht Club in Detroit organizes the race on Lake Huron.

Race organizers also are planning a new Charity Preview Party associated with the race on June 30 at Bayview Yacht Club.

NASCAR Expands Turner Sports Partnership

NASCAR and Turner Sports Interactive announced on Monday a expansion of their current deal in which Turner runs the NASCAR.com Web site and owns all digital rights.

The new agreement, abortion which goes through 2016, will allow NASCAR to manage business and editorial operations for its digital platforms beginning in 2013 and Turner Sports will continue to oversee advertising sales and sponsorships across NASCAR-branded digital platforms.

NASCAR’s comprehensive digital and social media portfolio includes NASCAR.com, fantasy games, video highlights, social media elements and editorial content. NASCAR.com, and the sport’s other digital and social media platforms, have been managed by Turner Sports since 2001.

“This move is about the media, our sponsors and most importantly, our fans,” said Marc Jenkins, vice president of digital media for NASCAR. “We will build an innovative portfolio of platforms that strives to be as diverse as it is comprehensive.

NASCAR spokesman Scott Warfield said the sanctioning body will use the 2012 season to gather feedback from within the industry and develop rules of engagement for its social and digital media platforms.
