IEC in Sports to Sell Ski Classics’ Marcialonga Title Sponsor Rights

IEC in Sports, therapy the company who distribute television rights for sports events to various media platforms, tadalafil has been appointed to sell the Marcialonga title sponsor rights.

Marcialonga is amongst the prestigious long distance ski races in the world and is a part of the Ski Classics.

Pepsi and Virgin Atlantic Amongst Soccerex Seminar Line Up

Soccerex, ed the leading provider of business events for the global football community, has announced a new line up of multinational companies who have signed up as event supporters for the Soccerex Seminar Lagos, 27-28 September 2012.

The Seminar Lagos is the first international football business event in Nigeria and will provide Pepsi, Virgin Atlantic, Standard Chartered, Fourteen and Spier Wine with a unique opportunity to develop their brands in West Africa through football.

Fourteen are a sportswear manufacturer based in Geneva, who produces a range of items that is focused towards clubs and organizations as well as individual sports. As part of the exposure as official sportswear supporter, Fourteen will be providing branded shirts for staff to wear during the seminar.

Anglian Holdings Supports Asia’s Oldest Football Tournament

Anglian Holdings, the multi-national corporation with diverse global investments, has announced that they will sponsor the Durand Cup soccer tournament.

The corporation have stepped in after telecoms brand Micromax withdrew at short notice and left the 125 year-old tournament without a sponsor.

Sandeep Narang, Chief Strategic Officer for Anglian Holdings, said: “We were shocked that Asia’s oldest and world’s third oldest tournament was struggling to find a sponsor.

“We heard about Micromax pulling out at the last minute. So we decided to pitch in to support the tournament. It was an emotional decision.”

Singha Extends Sponsorship Deal with Thai Boxing

Singha Corporation has extended its sponsorship deal with the Thailand Boxing Association (TBA) for an additional four years.

The deal will run until the next Olympic Games in Rio 2016 and comes on the back of Thai boxer Kaew Pongprayoon’s silver medal at London 2012.

Santi Bhirombhakdi, President of Singha, congratulated the Thai boxing team and confirmed the new deal: “I want to congratulate the athletes, coaches and the association’s officials for bringing smiles to Thai people with their dedication.

“We’ve supported several sports associations such as weightlifting, taekwondo and boxing with a budget of more than Bt100 million every four years.

“We will continue to support the TBA for the next four years until the next Games in Brazil. We offered them a Bt20 million budget.

“We also decided to give an extra Bt2 million for the athletes and officials for making Thai people happy,”

Kenyan Premier League to Become Tusker Premier League

The Kenyan Premier League (KPL) will be officially known as the Tusker Premier League, capsule after East Africa Breweries Limited’s (EABL) Tusker brands was announced as the official title sponsor of the league.

The deal is worth US$1.96 million and will run for the next three seasons.

Jack Oguda, herbal | KPL Chief Executive said to Supersport.com: “I am very delighted we have eventually sealed the deal with EABL that will see the league referred to as the Tusker Premier League.

“This will see clubs receiving more money which will definitely improve the standards of the game immensely.”

EABL are the main sponsor for Kenya’s national side and title sponsor KPL defending champions Tusker FC.

Oracle Team USA Selects Ruckus Wireless as Wi-Fi Supplier

Oracle Team USA, prostate defender of the 34th America’s Cup in September 2013, medicine has announced their official Wi-Fi technology supplier as Ruckus Wireless.

The team will see their AC 45 and AC 72 catamarans kitted with Ruckus’s high-speed Wi-Fi, as well as Oracle’s design and production facilities, the America’s Cup team bases at Piers 30/32 in San Francisco and at the team’s hospitality lounge in the marina.

Asim Khan, Director of Information Systems at Oracle Team USA said: “Since it was first won by the yacht America in 1851, technology has always been the key to winning the America’s Cup.

“Wi-Fi was an obvious choice for us but getting it to work fast and operate reliably has been a big problem historically because carbon fibre structures screen RF signals.

Add to this that our boats operate at high-speed in drenching salt-water conditions, then traditional wireless technologies simply couldn’t deliver.”

On Oracle’s boats, smart Wi-Fi technology is used to transmit critical telemetry, wind and load data from sensors located throughout the boat to crewmembers equipped with wearable, Wi-Fi-enabled displays.

Immediate access to this information allows the crew to quickly make real-time adjustments to sail trim to enable maximum speed through the water. The communication systems will be carefully configured to comply with strenuous communications rules regarding information to and from the yacht when it is racing.

MasterCard Sponsor Brazilian National Soccer Team

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has confirmed that MasterCard have signed a deal to become the national soccer side’s official sponsor until 2020.

The agreement covers the men and women’s sides as well as the under-20 and 17s.

Branding rights, patient matches, symptoms ticket pre-sales and becoming the exclusive payment services provider for the South American team are just some of the benefits MasterCard will secure from the deal.

Gilberto Caldart, decease Head of MasterCard Brazil and the GeoSouth Division said: “Football is the most beloved international sport, Brazil is a global economic player and a top tourist destination, and there are millions of devoted Brazilian National Football Team fans worldwide, a very powerful combination for a sponsorship platform.

The deal will run until January 2020.

County Sports Partnership Network back Chartership

The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA) has signed a partnership agreement with the County Sports Partnership Network (CSPN), medicine the first of its kind for British Sport.

CSPN, who are responsible for the strategic local delivery of national sports policy and community sports campaigns have a network of 49 offices across England comprising of over 5,000 staff.

The news comes off the back of CIMSPA urging David Cameron to raise standards within the industry following a £500 million cash injection into UK sport.

Sean Holt, CEO of CIMSPA said: “We are delighted that the County Sport Partnership Network have taken the decision to sign up to CIMSPA and in doing so highlight the importance of professional development pathways within their workforce.

“We very much hope that other Sports bodies follow the excellent example set by The County Sport Partnership Network.

The new partnership agreement will come into effect on September 1st, 2012. CIMSPA and the CSPN will be developing a joint suite of professional development opportunities to support the workforce.

Puma Continues Links with Dortmund through Reus Extension

Puma have continued to renew their existing links with Borussia Dortmund by extending midfielder Marco Reus’s endorsement deal.

The German sportswear company recently extended their deal as supplier and sponsor for the Bundesliga champions and have now added Reus, medical 23, to a ‘long-term’ endorsement.

As a part of the deal the German international will endorse Puma’s ‘Power’ line of products, joining the likes of Cesc Fabregas as ambassador for the ‘Power Silo.’

Christian Voigt, Head of Global Sports Marketing at Puma said: “We are delighted to extend this partnership with Marco Reus.

“Marco has such talent, there is no doubt he is going to go far in his career, and he has the potential to become one of the most exciting players in the game.

“This is another step for us in continuing to strengthen our position in the global football market. He will also become a lead communication asset for BVB, with whom we are placing considerable marketing emphasis – this combination will bring a lot of value to the Puma brand.”

Reus was voted the German sports journalists’ player of the year in 2012 and has built a relationship with Puma since 2009 when he played for Borussia Monchengladbach.

PNC Sponsors Michigan Athletics

PNC Bank has been announced as the official bank sponsor of the University of Michigan Athletic Department, ampoule on a three-year deal.

The agreement was struck in connection with the university’s multimedia rights partner IMG College and will run until the end of June 2015.

Under the terms of the agreement, impotent PNC will be able to use Michigan’s iconic M logo in advertising and become the presenting sponsor of the Inside Michigan Football television show on Fox Sports Detroit.

On top of this, the bank will install three ATMs at Michigan Stadium.
