Atlantic Multipower to Sponsor Reno Windsurf World Cup

Leading European sports nutrition company, remedy Atlantic Multipower has agreed an  new sponsorship deal with the Reno Windsurf World Cup, click which will take place in Westerland, Germany from September 28 – October 7.

As official Co-Partner, Multipower will have a significant presence at the 10 day event, offering product samples and training and nutrition advice to both professionals and spectators alike, in addition to branding and hospitality on site.

The partnership marks the first time the event has secured a sponsor in the sports nutrition sector, and allows Multipower Sportsfood the opportunity to increase brand awareness within a sport that appeals to a young demographic.

The Reno Windsurf World Cup is one of the most prestigious events on the PWA (Professional Windsurfer’s Association) World Tour, and is the only event which sees the world’s windsurfing elite competing across three disciplines – Waveriding, Freestyle and Slalom.  Over 230,000 spectators will watch 120 international windsurfing stars compete for a total prize fund of €120,000 at the final PWA event of 2012.

Adidas Extend Real Madrid Sponsorship

Sports retail giant, arthritis Adidas has extended it sponsorship with Spanish soccer champions Real Madrid, until the end of the 2019-20 season as clothing supplier for all categories of its sections.

The club also suggested income of last season reached EUR 514 million ($660m), up 7 percent from last season.

This is income derived from arena games (29%), television (31%) and marketing (32%). Excludes revenue from player transfers. The contribution of the partners represents 9.5% of the total.

From 1999 to 2012, revenues have grown at an average annual rate of 13%. In the income figure a profit of 32 million euros ($41m) before tax. In the treasury closes the year with a balance of 113 million euros ($145m), up 15% on last year. Net financial debt stood at 125 million euros ($160m), 26% less than last season.

The consolidated budget for the 2012-13 season totaled EUR 517 million, another record for the spanish giants.

Bank of New Zealand Extends Super Rugby Sponsorship

The Bank of New Zealand has renewed its sponsorship of Investec Super Rugby for a further three years from 2013, the New Zealand Rugby Union (NZRU) announced today. 

“We’re thrilled to have the Bank of New Zealand back supporting the most exciting regional rugby competition in the world,” said NZRU Chief Executive Steve Tew.

“This is a significant show of support for New Zealand rugby so we thank the Bank of New Zealand for recommitting for a further three years. Investec Super Rugby has been a huge success this year with strong crowds and TV audiences which is great news for the game and for sponsors.”

BNZ has sponsored Super Rugby since the 2010 season.

Under the new sponsorship arrangement BNZ is officially the Principal Partner of the Blues, Chiefs, Crusaders, Hurricanes and Highlanders and Partner of Investec Super Rugby.

The contract provides for a range of exclusive benefits, including front of jersey branding rights, signage and promotional appearances by players.

Tissot Named Official Timekeeper of Incheon 2014 Asian Games

Leading Swiss watchmaker, Tissot, has been named Official Timekeeper of the 17th Asian Games, taking place in Incheon, Republic of Korea, from September 19 to the October 4, 2014. 

The Asian Games is the largest multi-sport Games, in terms of participants, giving 13,000 athletes from 45 countries and territories the chance to compete in the 36 disciplines it showcases. Besides traditional sports like athletics, basketball and cycling, they also feature traditional Asian sports such as sepaktakraw, wushu and kabaddi.

Kim Young-Soo, President of the Incheon Asian Games Organizing Committee (IAGOC), stated, “We couldn’t have chosen a better partner than Tissot to provide these various disciplines with the utmost precision timing. UCI’s BMC Racing Signs Shimano as Sponsor

UCI Pro Team, impotent BMC Racing have signed on Shimano as a supporting sponsor just a few weeks after bringing two-time Olympic champion and four-time world champion Julian Absalon to the squad.

Shimano will provide the team’s drivetrains and brakes, pill as well as financial sponsorship.

Absalon joins current European and German national champion Moritz Milatz on the squad, ailment which is finishing up its rookie year on the World Cup circuit. The 2012 team was comprised of Swiss riders Yves Cominboeuf, Patrik Gallati, Reto Indergrand, Alexandre Moos and Julian Tamaracraz as well as American Stephen Ettinger.

“With the BMC Racing Team we already have one of the strongest road teams. Now we are lifting our mountain bike team to a similar level as well,” BMC owner Andi Rihs said. “(Shimano) has state of the art components, an innovative approach and give us perfect support throughout the season.”

With the road squad, which includes recently crowned world champion Philippe Gilbert, Shimano will take over wheel sponsorship duties from Easton. The move follows a major push from the Japanese brand to bring its latest wheel line into the pro peloton, providing hoops to a wide range of pro teams including Sky, Argos-Shimano, Euskaltel-Euskadi, FDJ-Bigmat, Orica-GreenEdge, and Rabobank.

Old World Industries’ Brands Become Official Sponsors of NHRA

National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) has entered into a multiyear agreement with Old World Industries LLC, erectile naming Peak Antifreeze, pharmacy viagra BlueDEF Diesel Exhaust Fluid, and Herculiner official sponsors of NHRA beginning in 2013.

As part of the agreement, NHRA will feature Old World Industries brands as official status Peak Antifreeze will be the official antifreeze of NHRA, along with BlueDEF Diesel Exhaust Fluid the official diesel exhaust fluid of NHRA. Herculiner has also been embedded in as bedliner of NHRA.

Singapore Indoor Stadium Jets Off with Singapore Airlines

Singapore Airlines, viagra sale the world’s most awarded airline has been named the Official Airline of the Singapore Indoor Stadium (SIS), ambulance in a deal brokered by World Sport Group, purchase the Sports Hub’s exclusive commercial partner.

The sponsorship includes Singapore Airlines signage throughout the SIS and branding opportunities on the Sports Hub’s official website.  The airline also has the right to feature the SIS event calendar on its website.

AdvoCare Get Title Sponsorship Rights to Nascar Race at Phoenix Raceway

Phoenix International Raceway’s (PIR) fall NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race will have a slightly different look this November, as nutritional company AdvoCare was announced as the race’s new title sponsor, starting with the AdvoCare 500 on Nov. 11.

PIR President Bryan Sperber and AdvoCare President and CEO Richard Wright were on hand for the announcement, made during a news conference Tuesday.

“We’re really excited to not only have a sponsor for the race, but to have a sponsor of the quality of AdvoCare,” PIR President Bryan Sperber said. “Their brand and what it stands for, I think, will be warmly received by the NASCAR fans and, really, consumers throughout the West. I think it’s just a great fit, and we’re really excited to launch this partnership.”

AdvoCare is a privately owned company that specializes in four lines of independently distributed products: health and wellness, energy, sports performance and weight loss.

Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Plano, Texas, AdvoCare has also sponsored the Sprint Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway since 2011.

Financial details of the partnership with PIR were not disclosed, but both Sperber and Wright acknowledged that it will be a multiyear deal.

“We like to find good partners that bring great value,” AdvoCare President and CEO Richard Wright said. “You can expect to see us in the Phoenix area for some time.”

Kobalt Tools had been the title sponsor of the race for the previous two years, with Checker Auto Parts sponsoring or co-sponsoring it from 1999 to 2009. Subway has sponsored a spring race at PIR since the race’s inception in 2005.

One of the questions raised was whether the new sponsorship will result in additional upgrades or improvements to the facility. Major changes were made last summer, including repaving and reconfiguring the track surface to allow for progressive banking.

Sperber wouldn’t elaborate on any specific plans but said the partnership with AdvoCare will help facilitate future advancements.

“I always have my wish list in my back pocket. … we’ve got some great ideas and some great concepts that we want to introduce at PIR,” he said.”All the elements now are in place for us to move forward, and we’re going to be looking pretty aggressively at doing that over the next five to seven years.”
