Strike King Lure Extends FLW Fishing Sponsorship

Fishing championship, FLW have announced today that Strike King Lure Company has re-signed as an associate sponsor for the upcoming 2013 season.

Strike King has been in business for more than 40 years with a wide selection of fresh and saltwater baits as well as polarized sunglasses and will receive exposure across all of FLW’s platforms, including its tournaments and Expos, multiple websites, FLW Bass Fishing magazine and the “FLW” television show on NBC Sports Network. “FLW” is broadcast Sundays in high-definition (HD) to more than 559 million households worldwide, making it the most widely distributed weekly outdoors-sports television show in the world.

Strike King will also serve as title sponsor of the Angler of the Year award in the EverStart Series for each of the five divisions – Central, Northern, Southeast, Texas and Western. The top pro and co-angler from the point standings in each division after four events win the Strike King Angler of the Year and Co-angler of the Year titles, respectively, which qualifies them to fish the 2014 Forrest Wood Cup provided they fish a full EverStart Series Division or the 2014 Walmart FLW Tour.

Phoenix International Raceway to Sponsor UFC’s Dominick Cruz

Dominick Cruz, the UFC’s bantamweight champion, is being sponsored by the Phoenix International Raceway for his next fight, which is expected to take place in early 2013.

The 27-year-old will wear the track’s logo on his shirt and shorts.

A torn ACL has sidelined Cruz since May, but that didn’t stop him from getting behind the wheel of a pace car. On Sunday, he did his second drive for the AdvoCare 500, which is part of Sprint Cup series.

PIR’s one-mile oval, which is located in Avondale, Ariz., hosts two NASCAR Sprint Cup events each year. 

Cruz, is the first MMA fighter to be sponsored by the racetrack. Phoenix International Raceway President Bryan Sperber said the fighter’s Arizona roots and love of racing make him a perfect fit. 

“We jumped at the chance to be able to support Dom,” Sperber said. “We’re able to showcase what we’re doing to the UFC’s audience. It’s kind of a groundbreaking opportunity because it’s never been done.”

National Rugby League’s (NRL) Sydney Roosters have added another impressive name to their growing array of corporate partners by formalising an ongoing relationship with Australia’s iconic food brand Four’N Twenty.

Four’N Twenty has become Official Naming Rights Partner of the Membership Program for the legendary Sydney Roosters Rugby League Football Club.

Known as “the great Australian taste”, Four’N Twenty is the pie of choice at major sporting stadia around the country, and has become synonymous with both Rugby League and Australian Rules Football.

Guardian Wealth Management Qatar LLC, clinic a financial advisory company, buy continued its sponsorship of competitions and events at Doha Golf Club by endorsing a fourth year and refreshing the format of previous years.

Lotus F1 Partner with Star Wars & Angry Birds for US Grand Prix

Lotus F1 Team have announced iconic brands Star Wars and Angry Birds will feature on the cars of Kimi Räikkönen and Romain Grosjean at the United States Grand Prix next week.

Angry Birds and Star Wars will feature on the E20’s sidepods, promoting ‘Angry Birds Star Wars’, a joint game which was released to the public yesterday, November 8.

The game is a partnership between award winning programmers Rovio – founders of the chart topping ‘Angry Birds’ game, downloaded more than a billion times already – and Lucasfilm – the creators of iconic films ‘Star Wars’ and ‘Indiana Jones’.

Accompanying the team’s promotion of Angry Birds Star Wars, an official weekly tournament game incorporating Angry Birds, Star Wars and Lotus F1 Team will run on the Angry Birds Friends Facebook fan page for a week from November 12-19. 

The relationship between ‘Angry Birds’ and Lotus F1 Team began in Monaco this year for the team’s 500th race and makes another step forward with this new joint activation ; incorporating Lucasfilm to give a new dimension in entertainment opportunities.

Shimano Extends Title Sponsorship of UCI Cycling Team

Team Argos-Shimano today announced a contract extension with title sponsor Shimano.

The Japanese componenet manufacturer has extended its contract with the Dutch team for two more years, clinic taking it until the end of 2014. 

The news further extends a partnership which began when the team was previously known as Skil Shimano. 

“Today is a great day for us. Because of the renewed partnership with Shimano we are able to continue our strategy we formed last year, illness ” said team owner Iwan Spekenbrink.

“In 2012 it proved to be very successful and with Shimano as an innovative partner we know we race on the best products available for our team. Shimano played an important role in getting our team to the position where we are now. In these turbulent times Shimano shows that they are reliable and committed to our team and cycling.”

2012 was a successful seasons for the team, herbal with a number of important results. John Degenkolb and Marcel Kittel finished first and second respectively on the Europe Tour, Degenkolb also won five stages of the Vuelta a España while Kittel notched up a total of thirteen wins.

The team management and rides are waiting to find out if their application for a WorldTour licence in 2013 will be successful.

Provident Financial Sign Major Sponsorship Deal with Bradford Bulls

Provident Financial have announced they will sponsor Rugby Super League’s Bradford Bulls in a four-year deal worth £1.2m.

Chairman Gerry Sutcliffe told Sky Sports News: “It’s great news for the club and the city and the sponsors. In these difficult economic times to get sponsorship of this level which secures the club’s future for the next few years is really important.”

“They also want to support our academy side and help us grow and develop.

Sutcliffe confirmed that Odsal – which could be developed as a sports village – will be renamed the Provident Stadium and the former Sports Minister said he hoped Provident’s decision to sponsor the club would lead to further deals.

“The good news is we have a major sponsor but other companies want to come on this journey,” he said.

Korean golf ball manufacturer Volvik has signed-on as co-title sponsor for the 2013 Volvik RACV Ladies Masters, impotent scheduled to be played at the RACV Royal Pines Resort between February 1-3, treat 2013.

ATP Extends Head Sponsorship Until 2017

The ATP & HEAD have announced a sponsorship extension for a further five years.

Under the agreement, physician HEAD will continue to be the official tennis ball of the ATP World Tour, patient as well as the official ball of the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals, through 2017. 

The agreement marks an extension to a partnership which began back in 1994, one which will celebrate its 20-year anniversary on 1 January 2013, making HEAD the longest-standing partner of the ATP.

All matches at this week’s Barclays ATP World Tour Finals at The O2 in London are being played with the HEAD ATP ball, which also served as official ball at the Shanghai Rolex Masters and BNP Paribas Masters in Paris this season.

JAL is the seventh partner to join the bid.
