Provident Financial Sign Major Sponsorship Deal with Bradford Bulls

Provident Financial have announced they will sponsor Rugby Super League’s Bradford Bulls in a four-year deal worth £1.2m.

Chairman Gerry Sutcliffe told Sky Sports News: “It’s great news for the club and the city and the sponsors. In these difficult economic times to get sponsorship of this level which secures the club’s future for the next few years is really important.”

“They also want to support our academy side and help us grow and develop.

Sutcliffe confirmed that Odsal – which could be developed as a sports village – will be renamed the Provident Stadium and the former Sports Minister said he hoped Provident’s decision to sponsor the club would lead to further deals.

“The good news is we have a major sponsor but other companies want to come on this journey,” he said.
