Star India Partners with Indian Premier League

Indian TV network, Star India has come on board as advertiser of the Pepsi Indian Premier League (IPL).

“We have no doubt that the Pepsi IPL 2013 will leave previous seasons of the tournament behind, in terms of the quality of the cricket, and popularity. The Indian Premier League is a phenomenon, which is only going to get bigger and better in the years to come. Since its inception in 2008, the tournament has provided a platform to organisations, which are as passionate about achieving and maintaining standards of excellence, as the IPL itself, to showcase themselves. The Pepsi IPL 2013 will be played from 3 April 2013 to 26 May 2013. Kolkata Knight Riders, the 2012 winners, will play the first match of the 2013 season on home turf, at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata, against Delhi Daredevils, on 3 April 2013.

Nine teams will play each other twice – at home and away, in a total of 72 league matches. The top four teams, in terms of points, at the end of the league stage on Sunday, 19 May 2013, will qualify for the Playoffs. The final will be played on Sunday, 26 May 2013, at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

Minnesota Wild Partner with Mobivity to Increase Fan Engagement

Pittsburgh Penguins Renews Sponsorship Deal with Dr Pepper Snapple Group

Dr Pepper Snapple Group have extended their sponsorship deal with the Pittsburgh Penguins for an additional seven years, buy through July 2020.

As the exclusive provider of carbonated soft drinks and other beverages at the CONSOL Energy Center since 2010, DPS gives fans a lot of flavor with more than 30 products to enjoy — such as Dr Pepper, Diet Dr Pepper, 7UP, RC Cola and more — while cheering on the Penguins. The agreement also covers teas, bottled water, energy drinks, juices and juice drinks.

In addition to exclusive vending and pouring rights, DPS will receive certain advertising provisions such as radio broadcast, in-venue signs and an annual playoff promotion. It will also continue its “Cap Trick” program, an under the cap contest where fans can accrue and redeem points with the purchase of select DPS beverages and participate in fun online activities for Penguins tickets and gear.

Panther Racing Renews Lincoln Technical Sponsorship for 2013 IndyCar Season

Two-time IndyCar Series Champion Panther Racing announced it has extended its relationship with Lincoln Technical Institute for the 2013 IndyCar Series season.

Lincoln Tech has been associated with Panther Racing since 2006 and John Barnes, order the team’s Managing Partner and CEO, sale is a Lincoln Tech graduate and a member of the Lincoln Tech Hall of Fame.

“Lincoln Tech has been a part of the Panther family for a long time, cough and we couldn’t be prouder that they will continue their association with the team again this year,” Barnes said. “Being a graduate myself, and having employed several Lincoln Tech graduates over the years, I can assure you it’s the best technical school in the country. Buffalo Bills Partner with Unyts

NFL’s Buffalo Bills today announced a new partnership agreement with Unyts, one of the leading organ procurement organizations in the United States.

As part of the agreement, Unyts will host four unique donation events in conjunction with the Bills both at Ralph Wilson Stadium and around the Greater Buffalo community.

In addition, Unyts will also be a game week sponsor for a to-be-determined regular season game on the 2013 schedule, and will receive various team advertising, promotional and hospitality assets throughout the season.

Gill Remains Official Technical Apparel Sponsor of US Sailing

Gill North America, asthma a technical apparel and accessories leader in the worldwide marine industry, medstore  has extended its deal as the official technical apparel sponsor of US Sailing.

ANZ Expands Netball Australia Commitment

Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) banking group have increased their committment to Netball by becoming the naming rights sponsor of Netball Australia’s junior netball program, and NetSetGO!.

ANZ has enjoyed a long association with the sport as the naming rights partner of the ANZ Championship, denture since the competition’s establishment in 2008.

“We’re delighted that ANZ has opted to increase its commitment to netball as the naming rights sponsor to NetSetGO!, no rx ” Netball Australia’s Chief Executive Officer Kate Palmer said.

“The new sponsorship sees ANZ take a broader approach, supporting the newest of netballers through NetSetGO!  to elite players in the ANZ Championship.”

NetSetGO! is the only grassroots netball program in Australia.  Developed for five to 10 year olds, the program incorporates skill activities, minor games and modified matches in a fun and safe environment.

More than 36,500 juniors, an increase of 23 per cent on 2011, participated in the program last year.  The weekly program is coordinated by accredited coaches to ensure a quality experience for all participants.

CQ Cobras Ink Automotive Deal with Ian Weigh Toyota

Australian Rugby League team, Central Queensland (CQ) Cobras have announced they have secured major new partners in the form of Ian Weigh Toyota.

The partnership, which will see CQ Capras CEO Denis Keeffe, coach Jason Hetherington and Operations Manager Walson Carlos driving around in brand new Ian Weigh Toyota vehicles, was described by CEO
Keeffe as a watershed moment for the club.

“To have a strong company like Ian Weigh Toyota on board as one of our major sponsors, and I might add bringing along an international brand like Toyota, is a significant development for our club.” Keeffe said.

Dealer Principal Ian Weigh said that Ian Weigh Toyota is very excited about the partnership for two key reasons.
