Panther Racing Renews Lincoln Technical Sponsorship for 2013 IndyCar Season

Two-time IndyCar Series Champion Panther Racing announced it has extended its relationship with Lincoln Technical Institute for the 2013 IndyCar Series season.

Lincoln Tech has been associated with Panther Racing since 2006 and John Barnes, order the team’s Managing Partner and CEO, sale is a Lincoln Tech graduate and a member of the Lincoln Tech Hall of Fame.

“Lincoln Tech has been a part of the Panther family for a long time, cough and we couldn’t be prouder that they will continue their association with the team again this year,” Barnes said. “Being a graduate myself, and having employed several Lincoln Tech graduates over the years, I can assure you it’s the best technical school in the country. Additionally, we’re excited to continue to try to find ways to involve Lincoln Tech in Panther Racing’s ‘Operation: Hire Our Guard’ program, so we can all work together to train and employ all the unemployed Veterans in the country.”

Lincoln Tech originally partnered with Panther during the 2006 IndyCar season, including as a primary sponsor for many races during the second-half of the season, and has continued its relationship with the team for the past six years. The organization has a diverse offering ofcourse programs, and graduates find job opportunities in an equally wide array of fields, from automotive, computer networking, criminal justice, culinary, dental and business administration to electronics, massage therapy, nursing and a little of everything in between.

Panther Racing kicks off the 2013 IndyCar Series season on March 24 with the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg in a seasonthat will be highlighted by the 97th Running of the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race on May 26th. All IndyCar Series races are broadcast oneither the NBC Sports Network or ABC.
