Aristocrat Group Considering Entering Sports Sponsorship

With the launch of their new product RWB Ultra-Premium Handcrafted Vodka, medic Luxuria Brands, the brand management division of the Aristocrat Group Corp (ASCC), is looking into the possibility of entering sports sponsorship.

The company is gearing up to compete in the $21 billion U.S. spirits industry, in which many top brands grow their consumer loyalty with sports sponsorships.

“Sporting events have long been a preferred and effective way for distilled spirits brands to build awareness, because association with particular sports and athletes can help cement a brand’s identity, too,” said ASCC CEO Robert Federowicz.

ASCC has already opened talks to potentially sponsor an auto racing team, Federowicz added.

Big Cola Extend FA Sponsorship

The English Football Association has renewed their partnership with Big Cola, buy cialis the flagship brand of the multinational beverage company AJE.

The deal, ambulance which was brokered by Total Sports Asia, will include the FA’s 150th anniversary year and the remainder of the national team’s 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign. 

In addition to being an official partner to the England team in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, Laos and Cambodia, Big Cola has now extended the rights to include Malaysia and Myanmar. 

The FA’s global head of business development, Sean McAuliffe, said: “Asia is a market of increasing importance for us and working on partnerships with brands like Big Cola increases our presence in the region and is a great avenue for our Asian fans to support the team.” 

Through the partnership, Big Cola will focus on social media promotions and working closely with the FA to increase fan engagement across digital and mobile channels in each market.

Adidas to Supply DC United’s Latest Affiliate

Major League Soccer team, D.C. United have added Arlington Soccer Association (ASA) as a new affiliate and tasked adidas to supply the team.

In addition to the player identification and development component of the affiliate agreement, Arlington Soccer will be outfitted with D.C. United and adidas-branded training gear, uniforms and coaching gear.

“The United States has some of the best athletic talent in the world, and it’s our goal to provide homegrown athletes with opportunities to play elite soccer,” said Ernesto Bruce, Director of Soccer for adidas America. “With our recent extension of the Major League Soccer contract, we have put the importance of youth development at a premium, and are excited about helping create Youth Club Alliances with local MLS clubs. Under the affiliation agreement, Arlington Soccer will serve as a source for D.C. United in identifying and developing the top youth talent in the region. United will share its coaching resources and will work with Arlington Soccer to follow its training curriculum and system of play.

Canadian Tire Get Naming Rights to Ottawa Senators Arena

Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited and Senators Sports & Entertainment announced today a new strategic partnership that will see Ottawa’s premiere sports and entertainment venue renamed to Canadian Tire Centre.

This long-term agreement will cover a broad variety of activations on all levels, including community sports in the Ottawa-Gatineau region.

The partnership will feature on-site branding opportunities for many of the retail banners in the Canadian Tire Family of Companies, including Canadian Tire, Sport Chek, Sports Experts and Mark’s. The agreement takes effect on July 1, 2013, and arena-related signage will be in place for the start of the 2013-14 National Hockey League (NHL) season.

Charlotte Bobcats Replaces Toshiba with New Technology Provider

Technocom Business Systems signed a three-year contract to become Charlotte Bobcats franchise’s technology provider.

The agreement begins this month, cheap pills said Chris Caggiano, cheap Technocom development director.

The company will have its logo displayed on the electronic signs inside the seating bowl at Time Warner Cable Arena. Other elements include access for the company to VIP entertainment areas, a Technocom office center at the arena to display various products and tickets for Bobcats games, concerts and other events.

“It was really a partnership,” he said. “They’re extending and we’re extending. It wasn’t lopsided. They didn’t ask for everything free because they’re an NBA team.”

Technocom replaces Toshiba as the technology provider for the team.

HP Zooms Off with NASCAR as Official Technology Partner

The new deal designates HP as an Official Technology Partner of NASCAR and marks the expansion of a relationship that began one year ago when the companies collaborated on the development of the Fan and Media Engagement Center (FMEC). The agreement is structured to incentivize continued investment in the FMEC while exploring areas for future innovation throughout the sport.

Bayer Leverkusen Seals Salzburg Tourism Deal

Bayer 04 Leverkusen and the SalzburgerLand Tourismus GmbHhave announced a partnership for a three-year period.

The Salzburger region has been a destination of choice for top European football club training camps since the middle of the 1990s. From the summer of 2013 SalzburgerLand will finally be competing at the level of the Champions League. SalzburgerLand Tourismus GmbH has joined with Zell am See-Kaprun region in agreeing a long-term partnership wit Bayer 04 Leverkusen. 

SalzburgerLand and Zell am See–Kaprun are exclusive travel partners of Bayer 04 and they are now officially members of the Bayer 04 Leverkusen sponsors club.

Chevrolet to Title Sponsor MLB’s Home Run Derby

Major League Baseball Properties (MLBP) have announced Chevrolet, a division of General Motors Corporation, will be the title sponsor of the 2013 Chevrolet Home Run Derby.

The 2013 Chevrolet Home Run Derby will be held Monday, July 15 at Citi Field in New York, home of the New York Mets, and televised live on ESPN beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET.

The Chevrolet Home Run Derby competition will continue to follow the format first introduced in 2011, featuring team competition between the American League and National League. Captains for each squad will be named and then each will determine the other participants on their teams and personally extend the invitations. Prince Fielder of the Detroit Tigers won the 2012 event in Kansas City.

Kia to Continue to Supply Cars for Canada UCI Events

Kia Canada Inc. has announced that they will continue their official automotive partnership with the Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec and the Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal of the 2013 UCI WorldTour circuit for the fourth consecutive year.

Warrior Adds Thomas Ince to Football Sponsorship Roster

Warrior Football, a division of Warrior Sports, has announced the signing of England Under-21 international and Blackpool winger Thomas Ince as an ambassador for the brand.

Ben Haworth, global sports marketing manager for Warrior Football, describes Ince as having a state of mind perfectly suited to Gambler.
