Hudderfields Town FC signed a new commercial partnership with family-run farm shop, viagra pills Haighs Farm Shop, there to supply the team’s new kitchen facility at Canalside.

Aberdeen Asset Management Extends Scottish Open Backing Until 2017

The Scottish Open, won on the weekend by American Phil Mickelson, is set to go ahead until 2017 after Aberdeen Asset Management and the Scottish Government renewed their backing.

After three years at Castle Stuart, the event will be staged at Royal Aberdeen next year before moving around some of Scotland’s top links courses, with a likely return to Castle Stuart in 2016.

The prize fund will increase from its current level of £3m to £3.25m in 2015 and 2016 and to £3.5m in 2017.

First Minister of Scotland Alex Salmond said: “I am delighted that the future of the Scottish Open has been secured up until at least 2017.

“This fantastic event has become a popular fixture on the European Tour and provides ideal preparation for some of the world’s best players before the following week’s Open Championship.

“I’m proud of the Scottish Government’s continuing support for this event which brings significant benefits to the whole of Scotland, both in terms of tourism and television exposure, while also providing a multi-million pound boost to the economy.”

Peter Adams, the European Tour’s director of international championships, said players would be “consulted quite widely” over possible future venues.

“We have time on our side and can go and look at courses and can also talk to the players,” he said.

“We can use that time wisely. I think there is a will to move the tournament around geographically but the decision has not been reached.”

New Sauber F1 Partnerships Show Renewed Interest in Russian Market

Sauber Motorsport AG announced three new partnerships with Russian entities which the Formula 1 team says will incorporate the promotion of the sport is the country in addition to the development of ‘high-technological solutions’.

With the inaugural Formula 1 Grand Prix in Sochi set to be held next year, impotent Sauber has teamed up with the National Institute of Aviation Technologies to jointly develop and research new innovations in the sector.

New partnerships with the Investment Cooperation International Fund and the State Fund of Development of North-West Russian Federation are set to assist in the development of motorsport in the region, ampoule in particular finding new Russian talent such as Sergey Sirotkin who is preparing to compete for the team in 2014.

World Rowing Federation Ink BMW Partnership

The International Rowing Federation (FISA) have announced a new partnership with German car manufacturer, the BMW Group.

This two-year partnership, which was signed earlier in the week, brings together two very different organisations that have found unity in their key values and environmental objectives, particularly in World Rowing’s Clean Water initiative.  

On the occasion of the third and final regatta of the 2013 Samsung World Rowing Cup III, in Lucerne, Switzerland, the car manufacturer will host their own finals of the BMW Clean Water Business & Diplomatic Regatta. Now in its third year, and sanctioned by World Rowing in support of its own Strategic Alliance with WWF, the World Wide Fund for Nature, this business to business regatta comprises a high-level forum on sustainable development, a rowing instruction course for the participating companies culminating in a 250m sprints race.

Speaking from Lucerne, FISA Executive Director Matt Smith said “BMW is a premium brand and a great match with World Rowing in terms of our values, market positioning – and in particular, our own Clean Water Alliance with WWF.  This partnership with BMW gives our sport a powerful boost in our ability to communicate and educate our rowers and global audiences about the need to sustainably manage all fresh water resources.”

Mesut Özil Leaves Nike to Join Adidas

adidas have announced German international Mesut Özil has become their latest brand ambassador leaving rivals Nike.

“We are so happy to have Mesut Özil joining us. He is one of the stellar personalities in German and international football and will enhance our portfolio of great players worldwide. With this partnership, we are once again underlining our exceptional position as the number one football brand,” commented Herbert Hainer, Chief Executive Officer of adidas AG.

The contract between the 24-year-old and adidas is long-term and includes joint advertising and PR activities. Furthermore, the Real Madrid midfielder will be adding his experience and knowledge to the development of adidas football boots. Mesut Özil will be wearing the latest Predator model. Nike was his previous boot supplier.

ROSE to Sponsor DTM’s Gary Paffett

Newly launched MB Partners has brokered a deal for ROSE, a specialist bicycle retailer to sponsor 2005 DTM champion Gary Paffett.

British racing driver Paffett, who drives the EURONICS Mercedes AMG C-Coupé is currently third in the DTM championship following his victory at the last race at Lausitzring. He is also one of Mercedes-Benz’s most successful drivers in the history of the championship and will be looking to continue his success at Norisring in Nuremberg this weekend.

To compete at this high level of motorsport requires an intense training regime and Paffett achieves this by cycling and weight training. Having ROSE on board will be a perfect match for him. “Outside of racing, I spend a lot of time on my bike as part of my training routine,” explained Paffett. “I’m used to high standards and custom made equipment so it’s great to have this sponsorship opportunity with ROSE, knowing they make bikes to such a high level of quality and performance. I’m hoping to see my training improve and creating a solid partnership for the future.”

Oakley Announce Canadian Olympic Committee Partnership

Oakley Canada has announced a partnership with the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) to be the Official Licensee and Official High Performance Optical Wear Supplier of the Canadian Olympic Team.

The agreement spans 2013-2016, asthma covering the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, ampoule the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games and the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

Opel/Vauxhall Ampera to be Official Auto Supplier for 2013 World Triathlon Series Races

The International Triathlon Union (ITU) announced their partnership with Opel/Vauxhall Ampera as the official auto supplier for the 2013 World Triathlon Series races in Hamburg (July 20-21), Stockholm (August 24-25) and the final in London (September 11-15).

The environmentally friendly model will not only lead out the triathletes at all three events but also be used in shuttle services for dignitaries and VIPs.

Opel CEO explained how the Ampera is best suited to represent the ITU World Triathlon Series, saying: “Triathlon is a rapidly-growing Olympic sport. It requires serious ambition, absolute perfection and enormous versatility – values that our Ampera also ideally represents so we are delighted to be the only automaker to exclusively support the ITU World Triathlon Series in Europe with our emission-free electric vehicle.”

Jockey Club Racecourses Extend Catering Deal with Compass Group

Catering provider Compass Group UK & Ireland has renewed its catering venture with Jockey Club Racecourses for Jockey Club Catering to continue for another six years.

This extension will see the partnership continue until at least 2025 and is worth an expected £300m in turnover.

Jockey Club Catering launched in 2009 with an initial ten-year partnership agreement to provide top quality catering, apoplectic | hospitality and service at The Jockey Club’s racecourses nationwide, medicine which include those at Aintree, Cheltenham, Epsom Downs and Newmarket.
