Ascent Solar Technologies, unhealthy Inc. a developer of consumer and off-grid products has announced today a new partnership with NFL franchise, discount Denver Broncos.

Ascent will be added to a group of ‘Hometown Sponsors’ for the Colorado based team, a deal which will include in-stadium advertising rights at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, coupled with promotional rights for Ascent’s consumer line of products, EnerPlex.

The Denver Broncos are one of the most successful teams in NFL history, winning two Super Bowls and six AFC Championships. With an intensely loyal fan base, the team has succeeded in selling out every regular-season home game since 1970 and growing its waiting list for season tickets to over 40,000 accounts.

As part of the agreement, Ascent will sponsor a new technology zone inside and around Sports Authority Field at Mile High and receive advertising within the new and fully integrated IPTV solution which plays across 1,100 HD televisions throughout the stadium, as well as utilizing the newly installed 1,430’ long LED banner which extends the length of the club level façade. In addition, Ascent will also receive multiple media and advertising opportunities, among others a one-half page advertising spot in the Broncos’ GameDay Magazine which is distributed free of charge to 45,000 fans at each home game.

Arsenal Seals First Commercial Deal in Nigeria with Sterling Bank

Arsenal FC has revealed today a new partnership with Sterling Bank to supply co-branded debit cards in Nigeria.

Football Association of Singapore Inks New Air Asia Sponsorship

Malaysian air carrier AirAsia has signed a three-year sponsorship deal with the Football Association of Singapore (FAS).

The sponsorship, viagra worth S$1.8 million, symptoms will include flights for the under-21, pills pills under-23 and senior national teams, as well as the National Football Academy’s age-group teams and women’s teams.

The partnership with FAS is set to provide the necessary support to the association to gamer further success and raise footballing standards for all levels. The Singapore national football team is the recent victors of the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup campaign.

AirAsia will also offer “attractive travel packages” for football fans travelling to away matches, it said in a release.

“I never looked at the commercial aspirations … but to aim high and do something meaningful for Singapore football,” said AirAsia Group CEO Tony Fernandes.

“Having AirAsia on the Singapore jersey is important, we want to put forward the message that we want to do better, that we want to dream. We hope to be part of that success; to help some of those young kids realise their aspirations.”

Mr Fernandes added that the sponsorship does not have “a fixed set of rules”.

“Whatever the FAS comes up with and requires our assistance, we are ready to help,” he said.

AirAsia has a track record of sports sponsorship, having backed the English football team Queens Park Rangers, Formula 1 outfit Lotus, the ASEAN Basketball League and MotoGP.

FAS President Zainudin Nordin said he is “absolutely thrilled to have concluded an agreement with an organisation of AirAsia’s calibre and reputation”.

“We are really thankful to Tan Sri Tony Fernandes and AirAsia for their staunch support for football and we are looking forward to working closely with them to further promote the sport in the coming years,” he said.

He added: “It is a positive thing for us, because AirAsia and Mr Fernandez are supporting youth, and sports in particular.”

Boxer Bernard Hopkins Named New Ambassador of Barclays Center

Middleweight boxer Bernard Hopkins, who holds the mark for being the oldest human to win a world title, has been named “goodwill ambassador” of the boxing program at Barclays Center. 

The IBF champion, a Philadelphia native, was a former convict but after his release in 1988, Hopkins turned pro and has made good on his vow to never return to lockup. 

Now an executive with Golden Boy Promotions, Hopkins (53-6-2) will serve as a spokesperson at Barclays Center fight cards and appear at news conferences and boxing community clinics in the city. The fighter will also do meet-and-greets with Barclays Center customers and business development meetings. 

“I’m honored to represent Barclays Center,” Hopkins told NYFightblog after he finished presiding over Golden Boys’ Manhattan presser to announce an Aug. 19 card in NYC. “At this stage of my career, I have more time to do things such as this assignment than physically fight. I’m excited.” 

Barclays CEO Brett Yormark told NYFightblog that he believes Hopkins can be integral in continuing to build a base of boxing fans in Brooklyn and beyond. “We’ve introduced boxing to the community and wanted to take that a step further,” he said. “It’s an important to have Bernard as an ambassador, as a face for the program. I think he’s a wonderful spokesperson and I’m honored to have him with us.”

Herbalife Becomes Official Nutrition Partner of 2013 Guinness International Champions Cup

This eight-team tournament, which features some of the world’s best and most prestigious football clubs from Spain, Italy, England and the United States, begins on July 27 and culminates with the championship final in Miami on August 7, 2013.

Ryan Braun Loses Sponsor Following MLB Suspension

Suspended Milwaukee Brewers left fielder Ryan Braun is in further turmoil after American convenient store chain Kwik Trip Inc. ended their sponsorship of the Major League Baseball (MLB) player.

After news broke Monday of his 65-game suspension for violating Major League Baseball’s drug policy, Wisconsin-based Kwik Trip Inc. said it would cut ties with Braun.

Kwik Trip director of marketing and advertising Gary Gonczy told ESPN Tuesday it was ending their four-year relationship.

Privately-owned Kwik Trip had used Braun’s name in radio and television commercials connected with its stores in the US states of Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowas, ESPN reported.

Braun also has endorsement deals with Nike, Inc., SURG Restaurant Group and Ottawa, Canada-based SAM BAT.

The wooden baseball bat maker SAM BAT, who has also used other disgraced sluggers Barry Bonds and Jose Canseco to sell its products online, told ESPN it would continue its relationship with Braun.

Racing UK will again sponsor the Glorious Goodwood Top Jockey Award it was announced today.

The leading jockey over the five-day festival, which starts on Tuesday, July 30, will receive a subscription to Racing UK, a £1,000 donation to the charity of his/her choice, and a deluxe Goodwood hamper.

Georgia Southern Athletics to be Kitted Out by Adidas

Georgia Southern University have announced their Athletics department will be supplied by adidas in a new five-year deal.

Oakland A’s to Sponsor 2013 Intermediate Little League World Series

MLB franchise Oakland Athletics have agreed a partnership with the California District 57 Little League to sponsor the 2013 Inaugural Intermediate Little League World Series, tadalafil it was announced today.
