Konica Minolta Becomes Canada Games National Partner

The Canada Games announced Konica Minolta as their newest National Partner.

Held once every two years, alternating between winter and summer, the Canada Games represent the highest level of national competition for up and coming Canadian athletes.

With this announcement, Konica Minolta, a company committed to benefitting customers and society at large, enters a five-year National Partnership with the Canada Games Council and will be recognized as a major partner for the next three individual Games.

Sunderland Partners with Thorn Lighting

Sunderland FC has added to their partnership portfolio by announcing a two-year deal with Thorn Lighting Ltd.

The two-year agreement with Thorn Lighting Ltd, unhealthy which supplies high performance indoor and outdoor lighting for a variety of stadia and projects globally, comes just days after the Black Cats announced the extension of their partnerships with Bidvest and TLC188.

The agreement sees the firm, which is part of the Zumtobel Group, become an official partner of Sunderland AFC enjoying a range of rights and benefits as well as providing a new and upgraded floodlight system at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light ahead of the new season.

NFL Extend AB InBev Partnership Until 2016

The National Football League (NFL) has renewed and expanded its partnership with global brewer AB InBev until 2016.

The renewal adds Mexico territory rights to the sponsorship agreement for the first time.

The NFL International Series enters its eighth year of bringing regular-season games to the UK in 2014. Having increased from one to two games in 2013, all tickets made available for the three games in 2014 have already sold out. The 2014 series sees the Jacksonville Jaguars playing the second game in their four-year commitment to the UK, while the Atlanta-Detroit game will be a historic first Sunday morning kick-off in the US.

Bud Light will remain the brand partner of the NFL in the United States and Canada.

BP Joins Baku 2015 European Games as Official Partner

BP, therapy formerly known as British Petroleum, has agreed to be an official partner of the Baku 2015 European Games it was announced today. 

BP will become Oil and Gas Partner for the first ever European Games, in an agreement which will also see the company assist elite athlete development in Azerbaijan.

As well as promoting Baku 2015 across Azerbaijan, BP will help fund the development of aspiring medal hopes for the host nation ahead of the European Games.

Mr Azad Rahimov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Youth and Sports and Chief Executive of Baku European Games Operation Committee (BEGOC), said: “BP is a company that has a long-standing presence in Azerbaijan and a deep understanding of the country.

Mondelez Renews Paralympics Ireland Sponsorship Until 2017

Tissot Announced as Official Timekeeper of Baku 2015

The inaugural 2015 European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan have secured a new sponsor with watch brand Tissot coming on board as the official timekeeper and partner of the event. 

The 2015 European Games are the inaugural edition of a continental European Games, with Baku chosen to host the event on December 8, 2012, during a European Olympic Committee General Assembly in Rome.

The deal, signed with Tissot and its sister company of the Swatch Group, Swiss Timing, will provide all timing and scoring services for next summer’s event, set to take place from June 12-28.

Tissot will also be provided exclusive rights to use the Baku 2015 Games marks, logos, and designations worldwide.
