Westfield Powersports to Sponsor Red Bull Indianapolis GP Vendor Marketplace

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway announced today that Indiana-based Westfield Powersports has entered into an agreement as the title sponsor of the Red Bull Indianapolis GP Vendor Marketplace during the seventh Red Bull Indianapolis GP at IMS August 8-10.

The Red Bull Indianapolis GP is the tenth round of the 2014 MotoGP World Championship, the most prestigious motorcycle road racing series in the world. This will be the seventh year that the stars of MotoGP have competed on the 16-turn 2.591-mile IMS road course that incorporates a portion of the Speedway’s famous 2.5-mile oval.

The Red Bull Indianapolis GP Vendor Marketplace is a popular display area for aftermarket products where motorcycle enthusiasts can see and purchase gear from top motorcycle equipment and accessory companies. The Vendor Marketplace will be open in the Gasoline Alley garages during the entire Red Bull Indianapolis GP weekend.

Fans can secure their purchases from the Vendor Marketplace to avoid carrying them around the track during the day at the free gear check location in the Marketplace until they’re ready to leave the track. FedEx and UPS service also is available on-site so items purchased at the Marketplace can be shipped directly from IMS to customers’ homes.

Also competing at IMS for the third consecutive year will be the highly competitive AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Racing Series with races August 9 and 10 featuring the thunderous roar of highly skilled riders competing on specially modified Harley-Davidson XR1200 motorcycles.

NFL Star Joe Haden Inks Unequal Endorsement Deal

Cleveland Browns All-Pro defensive back Joe Haden has signed a multi-year endorsement agreement with Unequal Technologies, the leading provider of customized, concealed sports protection.

Haden will wear the Viper Girdle for hip, thigh and tailbone protection, and the Unequal GYRO in his helmet. In addition to serving as an on-field brand ambassador, Haden will appear in in-store advertising campaigns at retail locations as well as engage in a social and digital program with Unequal.

The 25-year-old Haden, an All-American and member of the 2009 BCS National Championship team at Florida, was the Cleveland Browns first round draft pick in the 2010 NFL draft (no. 7 overall) and in 2013 received his first All-Pro and Pro Bowl selections as one of the league’s top cornerbacks. This offseason Haden agreed to a five-year, $68 million contract extension that will keep him in Cleveland through 2019.

Buildcorp Gets Naming Rights to ARU’s National Rugby Championship

The Australian Rugby Union has announced Buildcorp as the Official Naming Rights Partner of Australian Rugby’s new domestic competition, cialis the National Rugby Championship.

The new competition, ampoule which was announced in December last year, capsule starts on Thursday 21 August and will be a 11-week competition which will see almost 300 Rugby players, including current and former Qantas Wallabies, Super Rugby players and the best young talent in Club Rugby, take part in the nine-team national competition.

The announcement of Buildcorp as the NRC’s Naming Rights Partner coincides with the release of the complete competition draw, which will see Brisbane City host the Sydney Stars in a first-round blockbuster at Ballymore in Brisbane.

In another boost for the new competition, ASICS has extended its involvement with Australian Rugby and will be supplying all match day and training apparel for NRC teams, while GILBERT will supply all match day and training balls.

The competition is being sponsored by FOX SPORTS and Foxtel, with FOX SPORTS set to broadcast one live NRC match each week. This will form part of a bumper Thursday night Rugby line-up, starting with live coverage of the New Zealand ITM Cup at 5.30pm, a live NRC match from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, leading into FOX SPORTS Rugby HQ.

West Bromwich Albion Retains Jack Wolfskin as Official Partner

West Bromwich Albion have extended their partnership with Jack Wolfskin who will continue as the Premier League club’s Official Outdoor Wear Partner for the 2014/2015 season. 

The German company, which is famous for its outdoor apparel and leisure clothing, including footwear, rucksacks, sleeping bags, and tents, has been in partnership with the Baggies since 2013.

Huawei Agrees FC Schalke Sponsorship

Bundesliga team FC Schalke 04 have signed a two-year sponsorship deal with multinational telecommunications supplier, for sale Huawei.

As a leading provider of information technology and telecommunication solutions worldwide, the new premium partner will support Schalke with IT services, including providing a more comprehensive and powerful WLAN (wireless local area network) in the VELTINS-Arena.

CTEK Power Extends Northstar Miller Racing Sponsorship

CTEK Power Inc. has renewed its sponsorship of the CTEK/Northstar Miller Racing Chevrolet Camaro driven by Cameron Lawrence for the 2014 season.

Last year, erectile Lawrence was the TransAm TA2 class overall champion after winning eight out of 10 races.

Lawrence, now in his fourth year of racing in Trans Am, has begun 2014 just like he finished 2013—in winning fashion. To date, Lawrence has claimed four of the five TA2 races this year.

BORA, a sponsor of the team since 2012,will upgrade to naming rights sponsor  -on January 1, 2015 until the end of 2019.

South African Airways to Sponsor Team South Africa Until Rio 2016

The South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC) has received a welcomed boost after South African Airways agreed to sponsor Team South Africa until Rio 2016 

The announcement, denture which comes just ahead of the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Scotland, was made at a press conference held in Johannesburg, where both SAA and SASCOC signed the official contract.

SAA spokesperson, Tlali Tlali said: “SAA’s partnership with SASCOC shows our commitment towards promoting South Africa’s professional sporting heroes. As the national flag carrier, we are proud to be associated with this national initiative and our pledge serves as a contribution to ensure that our country is able to showcase its talent on an international stage”.

The three-year sponsorship is in the form of air tickets, which enables participating athletes and officials to fly to various sports destinations in the 2014-2016 period leading up to the Rio Olympic and Paralympic Games.
