Chinese Football Association Cup (CFA Cup) has extended its partnership with Yanjin Beer, who will serve as the competition’s title sponsor until 2021.
The extension is being viewed as the second phase of partnership between the two brands. The fee is reported to have surpassed the previous 80 million yuan (£9 million) of the last four-year partnership and exceeds 100 million yuan (£11 million) for the newly agreed deal.
Yanjing originally entered a partnership with the CFA in 2010 as part of which it also supported team China’s women’s football teams. Yanjing has been acting as the CFA Cup’s title sponsor since 2014.
The China Football Industry Development Corporation holds the business development rights to the CFA Cup.
