WWE and European Broadcasting Union added to Digital Strategy Masterclass

The popular event will be delivered in partnership with Omnigon, the leading digital consultancy within the sport, media and entertainment industries, at the London Grange Wellington Hotel on 13th April

Tracey Keenan has over 20 years of business development, sales and commercial alliance experience, working within the sport, entertainment, media, government and business marketplaces.

She is currently responsible for managing and growing the UK and Ireland business in what is one of the WWE’s most successful markets. Her role involves management of the regions P&L across all lines of business – Television, Live Events, Marketing, Sponsorship, Digital and Licensing & Merchandising – and providing strategic direction and leadership to ensure sustainable business growth.

As Director of Sports Rights for European Broadcasting Union, Stefan Kürten oversees the commercial exploitation of the Eurovision network as well as the acquisition and sales of sports rights. Since his appointment, the EBU has grown to become a global satellite and fibre network with the Eurovision brand positioned as a global provider of broadcast services for all top international events in news and sports.

He has also broadened the sports rights activities to make the EBU more competitive in the greatly changed marketplace. Stefan Kürten initiated the development of the organization into a successful commercial enterprise with subsidiaries in Europe, the USA and Asia and extended the Eurovision network for the provision of worldwide fibre and broadband services.

Under his responsibility, the EBU managed to secure major sports rights for its Members including the EURO 2016, FIFA World Cup until 2012, IAAF, IBU, ISU and the newly created European Sport Championships 2018.

The exclusive, invitation-only Masterclass series, is a unique gathering providing sports digital media and technology executives with the chance to learn from each other, hear industry insights, join in on discussions and network in a relaxed environment.

The discussions will be held without the press and under Chatham House rules, allowing for an open and free flowing debate.
