Wilson to Sponsor Badminton England Initiative

Global sporting goods giant, prescription Wilson, medical have struck a 2 year deal with BADMINTON England to be ‘Official Partner’ of No Strings Badminton, the class leading sports participation initiative encouraging adults back onto badminton courts right across England.

Wilson have quickly swung into action to put their sizeable support behind the smash hit No Strings Badminton initiative from March 2012 as both brands look to capitalise on the buzz this summer’s feast of sporting activity brings.

The exciting new partnership will see Wilson branding and product used in over 330 weekly  ‘pay and play’ badminton sessions in over 260 venues, including centres managed by leading leisure chains and community sports providers.

Teaming up with No Strings Badminton to engage with the thriving adult casual badminton market adds further impetus to Wilson’s reputation in England’s vast and varied badminton communities.

Wilson already enjoy an established stake in grassroots badminton in schools as official shuttlecock provider of the National Schools Championships, which sees 22,000 school children from over 1,000 compete for national titles.
