WBBL Sign Partnership with Sporting Pulse to Create New Website

July 3, 2014

The Women’s British Basketball League (WBBL) and Australian company Sporting Pulse have signed an agreement that will see the creation of a new website.

Sporting Pulse has hundreds of clients across basketball, including leagues and federations, and have been given the task of designing and building a new WBBL website.

The website will be ready ahead of the inaugural 2014/15 season, with work already underway on the project.

WBBL Chief Operating Officer, Andy Webb explained: “We have a very strong and fruitful relationship with Sporting Pulse due to their work with the BBL and it is fantastic to be able to extend this further through the WBBL.

“While the actual website in itself will be exciting, they are also planning to lay out a suite of matchday tools for supporters to utilise, including LiveStats.

“Working with our existing BBL partners where appropriate is very much part of our strategy moving forward and having Sporting Pulse on board is another coup for the WBBL.”

Ben Turner, Director of Operations at Sporting Pulse added: “We are thrilled that we have been asked to play such a major role in this new venture and we are looking forward to helping the WBBL get off to a great start.

“It’s clearly an exciting time for women’s basketball in the UK and because of our previous work and strong relationship with the BBL, we’re confident it will be a real success.”
