Wayin to Create New Social Media Hub for St. Louis Rams

September 3, 2013

Wayin, a social engagement platform, have announced a partnership with the St. Louis Rams to power a new, real-time social media destination.

With the Rams, Wayin has designed a three-part dynamic hub to enable members of the team, fans, and media to interact by finding and sharing social content.

This three-part Wayin hub experience will provide the Rams and fans alike with a unique way to see the latest team updates, player statistics, fan pictures, and news. Tweets using popular team hashtags will provide up-to-date details on the 2013-2014 NFL season. The St. Louis Rams Hub places the wide array of content into one organized online destination.

The Hub includes several unique functionalities, including multiple polls that allow viewers to Tweet responses to questions posed by the team. The poll is not only a great tool for promoting fan engagement, but also serves as a way to gauge fan sentiment.

The St. Louis Rams are the latest in a series of other NFL organizations – including the Denver Broncos and Atlanta Falcons – to create their own customized WayinHub.

“Social media, especially on mobile devices, is becoming mainstream in sports – whether you’re in front of the TV, on the field or in the stands,” said Wayin CEO Elaine Wood. “It makes sense that teams like the Rams are looking for ways to innovate how they engage socially. WayinHub allows them to do just that quickly and easily while having the customizable, flexible control to grow with their fans and team.”
