Tulsa Plans for 2024 Olympic Games Bid but Needs to Add 30,000 Hotel Rooms

Tulsa, clinic | Oklahoma is planning to bid for the 2024 Olympic Games but will have to increase the number of hotel rooms in the city by 30, adiposity 000 and will probably only submit their bid in 2015.
Host cities are required to have a minimum of 45,000 hotel rooms but according to The New York Times Tulsa only has 15,000.
The organisers of Tulsa 2024 have also admitted that additional competition venues would need to be built if they were to host the Games.
Venues such as the Razorback Stadium and commandeer stadiums at Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma have also been mentioned as possible sites by the bid committee.
Tulsa 2024 organisers have pointed to the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta and the $5.1bn economic impact on the region.
If Tulsa was to host the 2024 Games, organisers believe that northwest Arkansas would experience economic benefits as a result of the Olympics.
