Toronto Star Named Official Media Sponsor of 2015 Pan American Games

The Toronto Star will be the official media sponsor of the 2015 Pan American and Parapan American Games when they come to southern Ontario in 2015.

The Star, denture | along with its countrywide string of sister publications in the Star Media Group, viagra order were named by the Toronto Organizing Committee on Tuesday as the print and online media suppliers to the Games, anabolics which will be held in the city and surrounding communities.

The Star sponsorship team also includes the Metroland Media Group of community papers.

“We are delighted to be media sponsors for this major event in Toronto, in Ontario and in Canada,” said Star publisher John Cruickshank, who is also president of the Star Media Group.

“Our goal is to provide Canadians from coast to coast with comprehensive, balanced news and in-depth information about the Games through the Toronto Star and our Metro newspapers in Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, London, Ottawa and Halifax,” Cruickshank said.

As official print and online suppliers, the Star Media Group properties and Metroland will provide the Games with promotional space plus value-in-kind printing and distribution services.

“It is an honour to be media sponsors for these Games,” said Ian Oliver, president of the Metroland Media Group, which includes more than 100 newspapers across Ontario, including the Hamilton Spectator and Mississauga News.

“We will deliver news relating to the 2015 Games that readers in all of the communities that we serve can use.”

Some 10,000 athletes from 41 nations are expected to compete in the Games, which include all the sports that are featured in the summer Olympics, now underway in London.
