Sunderland Extends Partnership with Local Ceiling Firm

October 25, 2012

Sunderland AFC have agreed to renew their partnership with local ceiling specialist CJ Ceilings for a second season under a business partnership initiative.
North Shields-based CJ Ceilings was one of the first companies to sign up for SAFC’s Business Partnership and its decision to extend its involvement means it will continue to enjoy a range of benefits, abortion including match day hospitality, at the Stadium of Light.

Companies which sign up to the club’s Business Partnership scheme are also given priority on a range of club products and invitations to exclusive club events along with advertising and branding opportunities.

SAFC commercial director, Gary Hutchinson said: “Our Business Partnership initiative is about using our expertise and the unique opportunities that being associated with football affords to give companies an edge on their competitors and help them grow and develop their business through a unique medium.

“It’s a very competitive market for businesses at present and by working together with our key customers and providing them with a bespoke service we are helping to identify how their company can maximise the benefits of its association with the football club.”

CJ Ceilings, which was established more than 30 years ago, specialises in the supply and installation of suspended ceiling systems and dry-lining systems, along with all aspects of shop-fitting, office refurbishment, steel framed systems and fire protection.

The firm has carried out work on projects such as cinemas, schools, shops, offices, barracks and warehouses for a range of commercial, retail, leisure and Government sectors across the UK and in Europe.

“We’re delighted to be continuing our relationship with SAFC,” said Chris Johnson from CJ Ceilings.  This really has been an excellent partnership arrangement for us and I feel that we’ve benefited greatly from it.

“We have been able to bring business to the stadium and at the same time have really felt the value of the opportunities that being a partner brings.  We would definitely encourage other companies to do the same.”
