STX to Sponsor Two Premier League Hockey Teams

Sporting goods manufacturer STX, recipe LLC, ed has agreed a sponsorship deal with two English Premier League field hockey clubs, doctor Wimbledon Hockey Club and East Grinstead Hockey Club.

Both clubs signed three-year contracts, making STX their official kit and stick sponsor beginning with the 2014-15 season.

STX will be sponsoring both the men’s and women’s sides of the clubs, providing funding, product and grassroots activation in an effort to grow the game on a local and global scale. In addition to custom equipment and uniforms, STX’s presence will be seen on the field and at camps, clinics, and other playing opportunities.

“We are proud to be a part of the STX family,” said East Grinstead Hockey Club Chairman, Simon Longhurst. “This partnership will bring more exposure to the sport and provide us with the opportunity to equip our athletes with the best gear possible.”

Both Wimbledon and East Grinstead have been successful at the national and international levels. Wimbledon Hockey Club, one of England’s premier clubs, is the third-largest club in the country, with 18 adult teams and a thriving junior team. East Grinstead Hockey Club, located in Sussex, England, is the reigning Men’s English Indoor Club Champion.
