Overview

Located in Ottawa, vialis 40mg the CGC is looking for a qualified, enthusiastic individual to provide support in the coordination and implementation of CGC’s revenue generation initiatives and support sponsorship fulfillment and servicing.

This is an exciting 1 year contract opportunity for an individual with a background in marketing, sponsorship and event planning.  The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player, with networking and team building skills and has the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Key functions:

Sponsorship: Conduct research into potential sponsors and partners; create prospect summaries and profiles; assist in the development of attractive activation programs and proposals for current and prospective sponsors and partners; assist in planning, implementing and evaluating sponsorship strategies, coordinate the delivery of rights and contractual benefits to sponsors and partners;

AOR: Coordinate CGC’s relationship with the sponsorship Agency-of-Record,

National Partners: Coordinate the CGC’s sponsorship servicing and fulfillment efforts for the National Partners,

Sponsorship Expertise on Marketing and Communications Committee: Coordinate the recruitment of sponsorship expertise on the Marketing and Communications Committee,

Research: Coordinate the on-going gathering of sponsorship valuations.

Gifting: oversee the Council’s National Partner gifting fulfillment;

Plan special events: plan and coordinate event logistics around National Partner announcements.

Protocol: Coordinate Games-time protocol elements, including in relation to national partners.

Student Interns: Work with Laurentian University, University of Ottawa and Algonquin College (and/or others) who are hired to assist with sponsorship functions;

Policies and Procedures: Assist with maintenance and updating of CGC sponsorship policies and procedures including Commercialization’s Policy, etc.

Transfer of Knowledge: assist in implementing a transfer of knowledge plan to Host Societies, including the creation of tools, resources, policies and procedures, as it relates to divisions which may include: Sponsorship, Fundraising, Ticketing, Merchandise and related functional packages;

Provincial and Territorial Teams: be involved in the regular contact with Provincial and Territorial teams as it relates to sponsorship issues.

CGC Board: Assist with preparation of materials for Board of Directors Meetings.

CGC Games Mission Operation: Participate as a member of the CGC Mission operation at the Games and be responsible for the sponsorship coordinator role (see attached job description); assist with the fulfillment and servicing of sponsors, support national partner activation programming and coordinate CGC liasing on revenue generation areas such as ticketing and merchandising. Oversee preparation of a post-Games report/debriefs.
