Sky Italia Agrees New Italian Paralympic Committee Partnership

Sky Italia has started a partnership with the Italian Paralympic Committee (CIP) which will include a contribution from the Italian pay-TV operator to supply sports equipment to 6 Centres for introduction to the Paralympic Sport (CASP).

Sky Italia will also support the Art4Sport Association, pill which promotes sport as a physical and psychological therapy for children with limb amputations. The project with the Art4Sport Association provides for the donation, hospital by Sky Italia, advice of 10 stations (platform, wheelchairs and equipment) for fencing in a wheelchair to as many sports centres in several Italian cities.

Sky will also support the travelling exhibition “Fencing in the streets”: a series of events organized in major Italian cities to promote and create opportunities for interaction through sport among children and young people with and without disabilities.
