Tanjong Pagar United has agreed a sponsorship deal with business turnkey solution providers Ebchip Asia Pacific.
Under the terms of the contract, Ebchip will invest $(S)25,000 in the Queenstown-based club in the second half of the S-League season. The Tanjong Pagar’s S-League and Prime League shirts will display the company’s logo.
Ebchip managing director, Benny Tay, said: “Tanjong Pagar United is one of the oldest clubs in Singapore and Ebchip is honoured to be able to come on board a club with such great history.”
Ebchip advertisement boards and banners will be put up around the Queenstown Stadium, but Tanjong Pagar are looking for creative ways to maximise the new partnership.
“We are trying this out for the rest of the season to see if with can form a partnership with Ebchip that will benefit both parties,” said the club’s marketing and media executive, Gale Gan. “Over and above the regular features, we’re looking at corporate activities where we bring the sponsors in touch with fans and the community around our stadium.”
