May 28, 2015
Greg Peters has resigned as chief executive of Super Rugby’s governing body SANZAR to take up the role of general manager of the Argentine Rugby Union ahead of its entry into the expanded competition next year.
Peters joined the organisation in 2010, establishing Sanzar’s first independent office following CEO experience at Wellington Rugby and the Hurricanes. Prior to that, Peters held senior management roles with New Zealand Rugby over an eight-year term.
