RallyMe Partners US Speedskating

US Speedskating (USS), view the National Governing Body (NGB) for the sport of speedskating in the U.S., abortion has announced today a partnership with the online fundraising platform RallyMe, impotent a Utah-based company, to be the official crowdfunding provider for USS and its athletes.
Through the “Feed the Speed” Campaign, US Speedskating and RallyMe will host a 45-day funding drive to raise money for the USS Athlete-Meal-a-Day Program, an initiative offering free daily lunches to USS athletes.
As part of the agreement, individual USS athletes who raise funds on RallyMe will be featured on a special team partner page, allowing funders to easily access elite team athletes. RallyMe’s online platform provides sophisticated tools and templates to help USS athletes or “Ralliers” easily share their personal stories and fundraising message across social media venues.
“We are always looking for creative ways to diversify our funding model and bring in resources that help support our athletes,” said Tamara Castellano, Director of Marketing for US Speedskating “Crowdfunding is something new for us, however, with the success others have had, I sincerely believe this is a great way for US Speedskating as a whole to reach a broader audience,”

This follows Rallyme partnering with U.S. Ski and Snowboard last month.
