Qantas to Remain Official Airline of Cricket Australia

Qantas, Australia’s national airline has renewed its sponsorship of Cricket Australia for a further four years.

The agreement sees Qantas remain the official airline and sponsor of Australia’s national cricket governing body.

Cricket Australia chief executive James Sutherland said: “We are so pleased to welcome Qantas into the Cricket Australia family. The partnership makes perfect sense with the Spirit of Australia joining forces with our much loved sport.

“This partnership will ensure the Australian Cricket teams have the best travel experience both in Australia and internationally. The Australian cricket teams and support staff spend much of their year traveling, and we are thrilled to be traveling on Qantas and enjoy their high level of service.”

Qantas chief executive Alan Joyce added: “Cricket in Australia in summer is one of the world’s great sporting experiences and as the national carrier we wish the Australian team the very best of luck for the forthcoming series.”
