Presentation Programme confirmed for the Soccerex Asian Forum

Social Development, Coaching and Tournament delivery are high on the agenda for the presentation programme at the Soccerex Asian Forum taking place at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre on the banks of The Dead Sea, Jordan, May 3-4.

With the beautiful game acting as a major driving force for social empowerment and change within Asia, the sessions will play a key part of the Forum’s aim of promoting the development of football.

Led by the Asian Football Development Project, the workshop highlights include the Qatar Football Association (QFA) presenting its award winning CSR programme and Football For All in Vietnam (FF AV), covering a range of social issues.

Continuing this theme, Tatweer will deliver a presentation on their Saudi School Sports Football Development project.

Jeremy Weeks Head Coach of Premier Skills, a joint venture between the English Premier League and the British Council, will look at how the importance of a strong coaching structure can lead to the increase in player participation and elite level performance.

Double Pass, the benchmark for over 500 rights holders in talent development systems will also feature, highlight their unique technology used by the Premier League and German FA.

Different aspects of tournament delivery will be addressed, with best practice presentations from MatchVision and The International Centre for Sport Security (ICSS) on competition formats and integrated security planning respectively.

The programme will be completed by insight led sessions from the Italian Football Federation on the Next Generation of Artificial Turf pitches and the Chinese Football Association on their plans to boost football development in China from grass roots all the way to the top of the game.

The Asian Forum will be a hub of football business, bringing together the industry’s key decision makers with Football Associations from across Asia and the rest of the world.

Senior figures from Europe’s elite clubs such as AC Milan, Atletico Madrid, Malaga CF, Galatasaray, Manchester City, Olympiacos, Palermo and Villarreal will also be in attendance.

They will be joined by leading representatives from major event committees including the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the landmark FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2016.

World football legend Diego Maradona will be reflecting on his superstar career both on and off the field with his vision of the future at the closing session.
