ONE Championship Signs Analytics Deal With Adobe

May 10, 2018

Asia’s largest sports media company, ONE Championship, has partnered with Adobe to deliver enhanced viewing experiences for its worldwide audience.

ONE will use the US software company’s analytics to better understand customer engagement, patterns and demographics.

The Singapore-based Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) business ultimately hopes to switch it’s 1.7 billion following from traditional TV platforms onto its mobile app.

Chatri Sityodtong, ONE Championship’s CEO and Founder, said of the deal: “Adobe is much more than a solution vendor to us. They are a trusted partner on our journey to becoming a true Experience Business. We are now in the right place at the right time, in the midst of the mobile revolution in Asia.

“The nature of martial arts lends itself well to a mobile-first and digital-first kind of sport. Our action-packed bouts are so intense, they often last an average of three to five minutes, making for bite-sized, snackable videos that are perfect for mobile. With Adobe, I am confident that we will be able to deliver the same great viewing experience and atmosphere across all our channels – physical, social and digital – at the stadium, at home, and even outside the countries we broadcast to today, wherever our viewers are.”

V.R. Srivatsan, Adobe’s Managing Director for Southeast Asia, added: “Adobe looks forward to a fulfilling journey alongside ONE Championship as they modernize the centuries-old sport for the digital age, creating exhilarating experiences that go far beyond the physical space and stadiums, and direct to viewers around the world.”

ONE Championship has hosted more than 40 MMA events in Asia since forming in 2011.
