Npower Looking to End Football League Sponsorship

October 2, 2012

Utility supplier Npower has revealed it is unlikely it will renew their sponsorship of the Football League next summer.

The UK based company signed a three-year deal in 2009 worth £21m to become sponsor of the League, drugs replacing Coca-Cola.

The period of exclusivity in negotiations between the Football League and Npower has expired, buy meaning the League is now free to talk to other brands. Negotiations will be led by its chief commercial officer, Richard Heaselgrave.
