Nike Terminates Manny Pacquiao Deal After “Abhorrent” Comments

Sportswear giant Nike has terminated its contract with boxer Manny Pacquiao after the Filipino made a comment describing homosexuals as “worse than animals”.

Despite the 37-year-old apologising for his comments, click the brand has decided to cut its ties with him, referring to his slur as “abhorrent”.
