New Zealand Rugby League Agrees Smokefree NZ Deal for 2013 World Cup

New Zealand Rugby League and the Health Promotion Agency have agreed a deal that will see Smokefree NZ become the official sleeve sponsor of the New Zealand national team during the 2013 World Cup.

The Smokefree NZ logo will be displayed on New Zealand player’s sleeves throughout the tournament. 

HPA’s general manager, Tane Cassidy, said: “These games will reach a large viewing audience here, which will enable us to spread our message widely. The Kiwis are role models to many young New Zealanders, and we hope that when they see the Kiwis are proudly Smokefree, they will choose to be as well.”
