Nesta Carter to Appeal Positive Drugs Test
February 16, 2017
Jamaican sprinter Nesta Carter has appealed the decision to strip him and his relay teammates of their 2008 Olympic Gold Medal.
The Jamaican 2008 relay team, containing Usain Bolt, have been retrospectively disqualified and stripped of their Gold Medal after a renalysis of Carter’s blood sample was found to contain a banned stimulant.
The 31-year-old awaits a date for his case to be heard at the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
